Lovely accommodation in a great location. Family of 4 + 1 dog had a great time. Very friendly pair of donkeys directly opposite. Well kitted out kitchen. Hot tub was in immaculate condition and up to temperature on arrival.

Absolutely perfect place for a group or family get together. Spacious, clean and warm (mid Feb). We talked about going back in the summer when the pool is open and the garden lush, although that would be a bonus on an otherwise faultless premises. 5⭐️ Loved it!

All previous reviews indicated a top class house in every respect and I can only reiterate those views. If I could have given a 6 star rating I would have done so. All generations (grandparents, parents and children) thoroughly enjoyed using all of the facilities provided from cooking, eating and drinking to the outside play area, the pool and the gym. Further the location was most agreeable, in easy reach of lots of beautiful countryside and interesting places to visit in South Gloucestershire. Helen-Louise’s communications were responsive, clear and most helpful. The perfect host!

Britta is an excellent host. We loved the place and the surroundings and felt right at home. The house and surroundings are much more beautiful than the photos suggest!

We loved our stay at Mike and Joan’s barn. We were a mixed family group including three generations. Everyone loved the pool - which was so relaxing and clean and the perfect temperature. Two of our group couldn’t get out much for health reasons but they both loved the character and comfort of the barn and feeling so connected to nature even without leaving the property. We loved watching goldfinches on the common from the dining room window and my daughter slept on the mezzanine sofa bed so she could wake to the spectacular sunrise. Both Mike and Joan made a real effort to meet our slightly complicated needs (autistic teenagers, elderly grandad having cancer treatment) and Mike was incredibly kind letting me and my horsey daughter enjoy wonderful times with his beautiful horses. We had an amazing trip, made some precious memories and very much hope to come back soon. Big thank you to Joan and Mike.

Easter weekend is difficult & expensive accommodation-wise yet we were able to find this gem of a house in a quiet corner of Somerset, on a branch line between Bath & Bradford-on-Avon. We had lovely walks along the Avon, trips by train into Bath & B-on-A, we had drinks in the garden in the sunshine (didn't brave the pool - it is still only April!) and ate our meals in the cheerful large kitchen. We also didn't try out the croquet - we might have done with a longer stay - who knows? The village is beautiful to walk around too, almost all Cotswold stone, to be recommended. Many thanks to Deborah & Philip for a wonderful stay.

Nice place to stay, rural area, lovely views. The place is spacious, well equipped. Nice fitness area. There’s a parking space close to the entrance and also electric charging available.

The house surpassed expectations! The house was perfectly equipped with everything you could need, beautifully presented and impeccably clean! A great stay, we all had a lovely time and would 100% love to stay here again! Jane sent instructions before we arrived and I felt confident that if I contacted her during our stay with any questions she would have responded right away! Thank you Jane!

Stayed here for a hen doo and it was perfect! Great location with a car park nearby, the house was clean, tidy, and had plenty of space with good-sized bedrooms. The host was really helpful before our stay, sending info about the area and house rules. Would definitely recommend! X

Fab accommodation- all lovely thanks

Really great place for group or large family break. The house had everything you could need including board games as well as garden games / activities. We visited with a 3 year old and 6 month old and had everything we needed and kept them entertained. Would highly recommend and would love to return! Couldn’t fault the host or the property

We stayed at Andrew's place for a week whilst visiting Bath for a family wedding and we were delighted with this wonderful home. The house was immaculate, with stunning panaromic views over Bath and we had a fabulous time as a family sitting out and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Andrew provided everything we needed for a great stay, including guides for the local area and all the amenities we needed for a week stay. The house is a wonderful space for larger families like ours to stay in. Check in was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a more helpful and friendly host! We would love to stay here again in the future when we visit our family in Bath, thank you for making my sister's wedding week such a fabulous experience!

We had a lovely stay at Mellisa’s place. The house is very large. 4 spacious bedrooms with 4 separate bathrooms (not all ensuite). The kitchen is of a great size and so it the living room. The beds were comfortable and the linen smelt very clean. The location is top tier. We parked our car at Charlottes street parking (5 min walk) which was about 20 pound for 24 hours, which was very convenient. All in all we loved our stay and would love to come back one day!

This is the second time we have stayed at Chipping Sodbury to attend the Badminton Horse Trials. It really is an amazing location. Leanne and Richard were again fabulous hosts. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The shower was warm but lacking a little pressure. The kitchen is well fitted with a full size fridge/freezer. We can certainly recommend the Italian restaurant next door, and it is within walking distance of the local Waitrose. Parking is on the road which can be busy and the pub across the road can also be a little noisy.

We had a very relaxing stay. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and beautifully fitted and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. We walked into town as it is a pleasant downhill walk and got a taxi back but we could of also got a bus. Communicative and friendly hosts who made us feel welcome.

Great location in the middle of Castle Combe, to stay in a property with so much history was fascinating. The house was clean, everything worked, beds are very comfortable. Marlit replied promptly to our questions making everything very easy. We had a great stay.

Roz’s home was pristine. Great amenities, great location and very comfortable beds. We had everything we needed for a comfortable week’s stay. Working from home was also super convenient with very fast internet. Would recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! From start to finish, our host was fantastic—super responsive and made everything so easy for us. The home itself was lovely—spotlessly clean, cozy, and in a great location that made exploring effortless. The off-road parking was a real bonus, making coming and going stress-free. We had such a great time, we only wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a lovely stay! The place is beautifully presented and the garden is absolutely gorgeous — such a peaceful spot. It was the perfect base for visiting family nearby. We hadn’t realised there wasn’t a TV, so next time we’ll bring an iPad for a quiet evening in. The only small suggestion would be to offer a lighter duvet option, as we found the current ones a bit too warm and didn’t sleep too well the first night. Thankfully, we found a soft blanket which helped on the second. Overall though, a really lovely place and we’d happily return.

We had a lovely stay. Debra was a great host. Our grandson absolutely loved exploring the garden and the views were amazing. Plenty of room in the house for all of us (4 adults, a teenager and two infants). Downstairs is a lovely sociable area and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location to visit Bath and Longleat.
