Place is extremely cozy and perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing stay. Kitchen is nicely laid out and the view in the living room is lovely. Heated floor is a nice treat. The household manual is very helpful and provides lovely suggestions for your stay. Bed is unbelievable comfortable, could’ve slept there my whole stay. Lots of nice storage space provided. I will say the “private patio” is shared with other residents of the complex, so doesn’t feel as private as I initially expected, but this was no problem at all. Hosts agency was responsive and helpful. 100% plan to come back here again, such a perfect location for going to the city and feeling safe and homely.

Darren’s Place was immaculate, in a great location, and very well decorated. The house has great character, and some beautiful features, it’s got fun quirks and is super cool too. We used it as a location for my bridal party to get together and try on wedding and bridesmaids dresses. We then all cooked together in the huge kitchen and cozied up in the very comfortable living room and watched movies. The beds are super comfortable and we all got a great nights sleep. It was easy to find with plenty of parking and a quiet location that felt like you were out in the middle of the countryside. We are now discussing returning to Darren‘s house for a wedding crafting session in a few months time. Thank you for hosting us and we hope to be back again later in the year.

Beautiful view and lovely little property. Everything you could need was provided including breakfast. one of the fuses had blown but Timothy came straight round when we called him. Excellent experience all round.

A great house with character, everything we needed, and surely the best garden in Bristol. Richard and Jessica were lovely, welcoming and accommodating hosts. Thanks for letting us take over your home for a couple of days!

Chloe is a very friendly host, she is there if you need anything or if there is a problem, the apartment is just like in the photos. Well equipped with everything you need. Even though Chloe lives next to the house, we didn't hear any noise during our stay. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place. The parking space is really an advantage!!

We stayed here for two nights as we were in Bristol for a graduation. It was a perfect location, and just a short walk to the university and close to bars and nice restaurants also. There is so much space to get ready and move about, which was lovely. Overall very impressed and the price was excellent! We will definitely be staying next time we are in Bristol.

We had a fabulous stay over Christmas for 6 nights. Everything was perfect thanks to Jane. Welcoming, warm & cosy home with personal touches. Sociable open plan dining / lounge area. Extremely comfortable beds & had TVs in all rooms. Easy access to the city / restaurants by Uber. Quiet location. We chose to park our cars in a nearby car park just a couple of mins walk away which was ideal. Will definitely return & recommend. Many thanks.
