The school house

The School House is situated up a tree lined driveway, and offers peaceful, self catering accommodation for 1-3 people. It is an 5 minute drive (3km) from the centre of Te Awamutu. The school house is situated in a rural setting, with beautiful views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Built in the 1880's and operational as a school until 1939, it has a character and history that is unique. Surrounded by trees it has a host of native birds including Tui, Fantails and Kingfishers.

Nestle yourself in a sunny nook and read a book or sit outside and enjoy the position this home enjoys. This isn’t your standard bach, it was built as a home and not a holiday house. It has double glazed windows and a toasty warm log fire. 5 mins walking into town or 15 mins to the wharf. Recently renovated to a high standard.

Panoramic veiws of Raglan West , the Harbour , the bar and the mountain. Beautifully presented, large family home . The property is ideal for couples as the whole upstairs will be yours with the beautiful views. It is also perfect for families and larger groups . Not suitable for parties. The property is on a quiet street but right next to a cafe with amazing coffee, pizza , gelato and Italian food. The location is fantastic as you are so close to the surf , beaches and the Harbour .

Ironsands is a new modern self contained house situated in Raglan town. Enjoy a bit of luxury away from home with a brand new queen bed as well as a sofa bed and fold away bed for any extras (ie: children). The house is located centrally to the Kopua swimming beach, and a 15 minute enjoyable walk to town. You can drive to the famous Ngarunui surf beach, Manu Bay or Whale Bay within 10 minutes. Our holiday home is light and sunny with plenty of space to unwind... Enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony while taking in an impressive 180 degree view of two world famous surf breaks- Whale Bay and Indicators! It’s the best view in Whale Bay but you can decide for yourself! The sunsets are absolutely stunning and you will definitely be impressed! There is plenty of outdoor space with a large deck to BBQ on and a huge back lawn for the kids to run and play.

Our private whare is a short drive/walk to Ngarunui Beach. Raglan Township will take you just under 10 minutes by car, or if you’re able, it’s a wonderful walk of around 35 minutes, either along the beach on low tide, or the new footpath that’s just opposite our drive. With the bonus of Rock It Kitchen/Cafe across the road, there's no need to go far for great coffee or a relaxing meal. Our space is ideal for couples/solo escapes.

This wonderfully modern house is positioned on a large, quiet and private section close to the main beach. This light and sunny home opens out to a sun-drenched deck from every room via sliding and large stacker doors. Relax reading a book in the swing chair on the deck and listening to the tui sing in the established bush. Fall asleep to the calm running of the stream outside both bedroom doors.
