Ngā mihi Sarah and Dave! My husband and I had a wonderful few nights in the lush oasis that is Sarah and Dave’s spot in Whale Bay. Private, modern, luxurious and tranquil along with the glorious suspended fire place, the awesome 70s sound system, listening to the trickling stream and watching the native birds in the native flora - our stay was everything we were after and more. Both Sarah and Dave were fantastic to communicate with and provided great recommendations for local eating spots too. Couldn’t recommend this stay more, you’d be silly not to book!

We had a great time and would be happy to come back. The location is excellent, we spontaneously extended by one night.

Very nice, modern and private place. The host was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here with young children and there was more than enough space inside and out. The yard is very well kept and is huge. Was nice to have a full functioning kitchen and laundry. Also the bed was super comfortable.

Private & peaceful stay we loved it. Everything we needed. Absolutely loved the good quality items like all manchester and towels. Thank you so much, would return again

Our second visit and once again it was like a home from home. Trevor and Lynda go out of their way to make sure everything is supplied to a high standard. We loved the breakfast items that were provided.....croissants, juice, yoghurt and muesli, porridge sachets....etc, etc. Pristine clean, comfy beds, and beautifully decorated, the West Wing is a must-have if you need to stay in the area. Only 5 or 6 minutes from Papakura, it has proved to be very convenient for us attending our conventions, and very quiet at night for sleeping. Five star Airbnb for sure. This is a very cool cabin in the woods. The cabin is very cosy in warm and the views are amazing. We took the short walk down to the pond in the bush. It's a very short walk from the car, so you don't need to carry things far, and can easily go back to the car. A couple of small things to note - A little more attention to the details of the amenities would make this place outstanding. For example, if you want to drink wine from wine glasses I would BYO. (only plastic was provided on our stay). At the back of a working farm, there was some timber milling noise near by but it stopped soon after we arrived and started again in the morning.

Cute cottage with animals in the neighbouring farm and a massive garden bed front yard for you to enjoy. Included a lot of consumables. more than the usual Airbnb. was very satisfied with my stay.

An amazing house in a beautiful spot, perfect for when you want to get away from everything. The house is well equipped and spotless. We had a fantastic few days there, enjoying the stunning scenery and loved going charter fishing for snapper locally.
