Overall staying at Holly's farmstay was amazing. It was cozy, the heater systems worked greatly, it was quiet and peaceful. It is a spacious home that is decorated so beautifully with art pieces made from Holly as well! A great area to walk around with our dogs and awesome hikes in the area too. The kitchen tools were left dusty, but I'm assuming that everyone who stays here most likely enjoys to eat out in this area which is understandable however, my boyfriend and I like to cook and we had to wash a couple of items. This stay also does not have a kitchen sink so be wary if you would like to make meals here as well, as we had to wash everything in the bathroom sink. There were many amenities provided and were very helpful. This home is exact to how it is portrayed online such as the amenities, the pictures, and the description. We would definitely love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property with our large family. There were plenty of activities for the kids and the host was incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and easy to reach. A couple of things to note: there is a large wooden staircase separating the house which made it a bit tricky with the real little ones and one of the full-size beds is in an open space without a door. These weren’t issues for us but might be worth considering for others. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and we’re so grateful to the host for their kindness and attentiveness!

Truly a beautiful get away spot. Perfect cabin in the woods, close to the lake. Really enjoyed being a 5 minute drive to the water, lots of hiking/running trails close by.

Jess’ place was both incredibly well designed and cozy at the same time. It was immaculately clean, had a well stocked kitchen and was a perfect distance to the main drag in town. In addition, Jess was the most responsive and flexible host - answering all our many questions and asks for local recommendations (we were staying with a big family and kids over Christmas). Would 100% stay here again!

Great spot. Close to the water, restaurants, and store. We love Almanor and try to get up at least once a year. Nadine’s home was great. Clean, comfortable, and had absolutely anything and everything you could need to help make you feel at home. Even our Shepherd felt right at home. I would 100% recommend this property. Fit for two families with separate units, but just the right size to get all together for dinner! Thanks Nadine!!

Christine's place is at such a beautiful and peaceful location with green pastures and mountains all around you. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we ever had. Night-sky watching at the hot-spring was so good and we highly recommend it! Christine, Christian and Mary Ann were so nice and welcoming, thank you for hosting us!
