Waterfront vacation rentals in Prazeres

Great location with beautiful views of the ocean from all rooms, loved it so much that my wife did not want to leave the apartment. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Please note uber/bolt is harder to plan for, best if you have a rental.

A lovely spot with great views of Funchal. The location was very close to a supermarket, good restaurants, and many bus stops. The host and his assistant were very helpful and responsive.

Correu everything perfectly! The apartment was spotless, clean and very well prepared for guests and with a wonderful view! The location is quite central with supermarkets nearby and yet, you feel a calm and familiar atmosphere. Communication with the host was excellent, we always felt well accompanied, and it should be noted that when we needed assistance, the response and solution to the problem were extremely fast. The only less positive point is the parking in the building, which is quite limited, but everything went very well.

Old Zone is a very spacious apartment, in a great location near the cable car, restaurants, old town, very central. Corina was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay in Funchal.

Very good location for exploring Funchal with only a 5-10 walk to the shops and restaurants in the centre. Very spacious for the 4 of us and great views from the balcony. Nice local bakery next door, worth a visit for breakfast.

Our stay at Patricia’s apartment in Funchal was excellent in every way! First of all, the location is perfect — just a 2-minute walk from Funchal Marina, right next to a supermarket, and very close to bus stops, which made getting around incredibly easy and fast. The apartment itself was in impeccable condition: spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped — it truly felt like a real home. We didn’t miss a thing — from appliances to kitchenware, everything was available and in perfect working order. Patricia was a wonderful host — kind, helpful, and always available. She was there for anything we needed and handled every little issue quickly and professionally. She really made us feel welcome and safe throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and would definitely choose it again for a future trip to Funchal!

We spent 4 weeks in Emanuels apartment. Walking distance to shopping, city center, and waterfront. Various bus routes just around the corner. We felt very welcome and the little practical issues that arose along the way were resolved instantly. Due to the location, there is a lot of traffic noise, but when it was too much, we closed the windows and the balcony door - and then it was ok. Emanuel is a great host who responded very quickly to questions. We were received very kindly and given great instruction. In addition, we got local tastings: -) We highly recommend a stay with Emanuel.

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic 8 night stay at Lucio’s apartment. The apartment is large , was very clean and looked just like the photos. The location was a great starting point to explore the island. We enjoyed being in a quieter town that was still very central. There were plenty of restaurants that were walkable for dinner each night. We really enjoyed being able to relax on the balcony and in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Lucio was very friendly and responsive and has really set this apartment up with all the perfect amenities for a home away from home. We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Madeira!

So I did not actually make it to Scotts place as I was turned away at the airport because of an issue with my passport. However i wanted to give him 5 stars 🌟 for communication. And I have rebooked for next year.

Our plane landed early and our host had prepared the accommodation so we could access it very early. Very well hosted by Nelia, she had prepared us a basket of fruit, eggs from her henhouse and typical Madeira elderberries. The bed was made and everything was very clean. We'll go back and recommend it without worries.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa dos Francelhos! The house is beautiful and spacious. António was very hospitable and welcoming throughout, providing us with recommendations, fruit, wine, and local delicacies on arrival! We had such a lovely trip to Madeira and that was in no small part due to our stay at Casa dos Francelhos.

Lovely, roomy house overlooking the sea, with a promenade with incredible views just in front. Constantino is a fantastic, helpful, thoughtful host.

We had a lovely stay with the five of us. It lacked nothing, really everything was present (even a cheese slicer, nice for a Dutchman😅). Also a lovely outdoor area with enough furniture for all of us. Highly recommended. I would love to come again.

The house is amazing! Spacious and very bright - with an incredible view! The road is pretty steep, but you can easily park at the beginning of the road if you don't want to get up the steep part. The welcome was amazing with a bowl full of fresh fruit, eggs, some local sweets, wine, and so on. Communication was very easy as well. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay in the north of Madeira!

The staying in Cabana Costa Norte was amazing. The house corresponds to the photo and description. All amenities for living and cooking are present as stated. You can also have a barbecue outside. Communication with Adriana was excellent, she responded quickly and was helpful. We are gratefy for the useful recommendations from Adriana and her parents. The house is located in a picturesque village, very close to must-go places: Fanal forest, Seixal beach, natural pools, hiking routes. It was great to live in this part of the island, which allowed us to see all the beauty of the island. The house among the mountains and the ocean only helped us love Madeira even more.

The apartment was wonderful, modern and very spacious with two bathrooms. For breakfast we could sit outside on the small terrace in the sun. The kitchen had everything you need to take care of itself and looked very new and clean. We were definitely able to live and relax well in the apartment! The place has a lot to offer - restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets are within walking distance. Unfortunately, the traffic in town is very hectic and noisy. However, you didn't notice any of this in the apartment. Dina was super responsive to our concerns and questions and was very kind.

We were wonderfully welcomed by Lucia who is a very nice person. The apartment is very large, modern and above all very pretty with a superb sea view ✨ We chose Bolt to get around and it was perfect:) Thank you for this trip!

From the moment we walked in the door we knew we had made a great choice renting Maria’s place. The VIEW, the layout, seating inside and out were exactly what anyone would need to enjoy a home away from home. The location was outstanding to explore all parts of the city center as well as great redo and shopping. The kitchen was all stocked and having a washing machine and large drying rack was appreciated! The ONLY disappointment was the mattress in the master bedroom (we didn’t use the 2nd bedroom) could use replacing. That said, it wouldn’t stop us from going back there again. All the many positives outweigh. Maria and team were super hosts and we absolutely loved Funchal and Madeira!

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in this apartment with our daughter for 17 months. Everything was available for the baby (bed, highchair, etc.) just great. Cristina is very friendly and helpful. Everything is within walking distance and within walking distance of various restaurants and cafes. We recommend the place to anyone.

Flawless apartment, very clean and as described. The terrace is simply magnificent, with a magnificent view. Everything is well furnished, you immediately feel comfortable. We are delighted with our stay – a real pleasure from start to finish!

Accommodation even better than the photos. The view and terrace are the differentials. Good infrastructure, new appliances, quality bed and bath linens, good parking spaces and easy communication with Mr. Roberto. The only caveat: quality of the pillows left to be desired. The standard of every home is superior and deserved attention and replacement by better quality ones. In addition, we highly recommend and would come back easily.

Everything was great. The place was super clean, the view from the balcony is gorgeous, there were extra towels, hygiene products and multiple pillows, the kitchen was fully equipped too. Hosts clearly know what they're doing.
