Vacation rentals in Pöllan

Very cute and clean little house that has everything you need for a stay. The location is a good starting point to go to Sveti Višarje. It is quiet and private.

The house is located in a great location, it is a nice construction where it prevails in wood, we were looking for the typical mountain house and we found it, cozy and equipped with all the services. For those who like to walk like us, there are many routes that leave right from the village of Valbruna. There is a grocery store with a bar right in the village, easily walkable from the cottage, which we found open only in the morning. Other amenities can be reached in a short time by car. The surroundings are fantastic and for those who love forests can immerse themselves inside only by clear waterways. Outside the little house on the property is a majestic centennial fir tree, the protective sanctuary of the house. There are outdoor living spaces outside the house in the summer season and you can park on the property. Pets are welcome and they too, we have two dogs, they were comfortable. Davide is a great host !!!!

we were welcomed very well with a lovely cake at a warm and cosy house. Barbara and her husband were super generous, they even picked us up from the train station and brought us back on the departure day. The house is right next to the grocery store and a lot of hiking paths around. would definitely recommend it!

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

Roswitha and her family are nice and easy to communicate with. The space is wonderfully private, plenty of space and a nice view. We only slept there one night but definitely recommended for several nights.

If you like the comi of quaint and modern and value privacy with a great view, this is 100% right! We stayed with our dog in the house for a whole week and felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and the beds very comfortable. A true resting pole to relax and a perfect place to escape the ordinary! We will definitely be back!

No picture does this place justice. Opening up the curtains on the first morning, to be greeted by the most amazing views, was very special. The location is unbelievable, right on the lake with the walking path just behind it. The accomodation itself strikes the perfect balance between modernity and traditional Slovenian wooden architecture. Love that you jump straight on a kayak its own private jetty. The kitchen is well equipped and has all you need to self cater.

It’s a relatively small, but very smartly designed house in a very peaceful environment. We found everything what we needed, and everything was very clean.
