Absolutely stunning views! We loved our time in Lava at the River Retreat. So many special touches that made us feel at home. Comfortable furniture and beds made it a perfect escape. Would highly recommend.

Great property. House and cabin are in a beautiful area and perfectly fit our needs. The house has large rooms to gather in. Hosts were attentive and stay went smoothly.

The building is special to our family. I grew up going to church there until my parents bought it in 1981 & ran The Joulet Wedding Reception Center for 40yrs. I also had a dance studio "Dance World" there for 13 years during that time. We have many precious memories of that building & family parties that were held over the years. The building is spacious and offered plenty of sleeping space for my family who slept there over the 3 days we were there. We had a larger group of family (about 80) who came for our huge Christmas party and the building was ample for all! The space is family friendly with all the amenities it offers including the gym with the basketball court, zip line, and plenty of space for family games. The kitchen was great- 2 stoves and 3 fridges. Suggestions: 1. A pantry to hold food on south wall next to fridge 2. Upgrade the plumbing. (The sewer backed up) 3. Heat for rooms managed separately if possible. It was often either too hot or too cold in bedrooms

This is the perfect place for a family reunion. There are 10 bedrooms--4 of them share bathrooms and 2 have private bathrooms--and numerous sofas in 3 different locations that could also be slept on. The large inner area was big enough for us to keep 10 tables set up along with a pickle ball net (there is one at the house although we didn't know that and brought our own). The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to cook in. The kids loved the slide at one end and the two forts that flanked the carpeted stage at the other end. It was easy to spend a lot of time inside together but we did get to the pools too! The temperature felt easy to control although we didn't need the A/C. There were plenty of outlets and we found one long extension cord but could have used another. Our only real concern came when we realized that two or three of the exits from the home had been plowed in with a wall of snow. For safety's sake, it should be important to keep those clear. We'd love to come back!

Mikes place was great. Itnwas a perfect place for my mom while I packed up her apartment to move to California with me. The furniture is unique and creative. Such beautiful wood pieces. Would stay there again.

Quiet property. It is very pet friendly(I didn’t have any pets when stayed), but they definitely accommodate. It is close to many food places and it is was quick and easy to get to from the main roads in Pocatello.

Great place, very homey feel. Jenna was great, and everything was exactly as represented. Loved it, will try to stay here again!

Penny sent clear directions including the current road construction detours before our arrival. Great place for a family weekend. Lots of space for the dog and little ones to explore. Nice to be able to cook family meals, play games and go on walks together.

Great location, worked well for us. As has been mentioned there is a nearby railroad, but the grandkids thought it was cool. Everything was as it was represented to be, would stay again for sure.

Wonderful property, really comfortable beds, cozy furniture, great yard for the pup - perfect for our needs - would definitely stay here or at any of Mike's properties again!

Fantastic house! We booked the hose last minute, on our way to Montana for two families. The house was perfect for all of us. Paul was a fantastic host. He was very friendly and provided thorough instructions.

We are currently halfway through a one-year stay in Pocatello (my has a temporary appointment at ISU). We originally booked the Ivy Cottage assuming we would rent an apartment for the year, but we liked it so much we decided to just stay, and we are very grateful to Mryna for making this possible. The home is beautiful, the location is perfect, and Myrna is an incredibly responsive and friendly host. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

This house was actually one of my best friend’s homes when I grew up in Pocatello. When I saw that it was an Airbnb I had to book it just for the memories. It was a great place to stay and convenient location. Came into town to ski at Pebble Creek with my son and my high school buddies. Had a great time and loved staying here!

This was a great place to stay with our little kids. It was free of any clutter that we had to watch out for and lots of space in the basement for them to run around.

I love older homes very historical. Lots of room highly recommended.

Great location-loved how large the home and yard was. Awesome soft and comfortable beds, bedding towels. Loved how cozy the place was. Owner was very accommodating with our schedule, we had to modify our dates because my dad died and we needed to arrive and leave at different dates. Home was a few blocks aways from Alameda park, which we loved walking to. Thanks for your awesome hospitality!
