We had a great stay in the house. Our group was 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and it was the perfect size for us all. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very peaceful and so quiet at night we all got great sleep. We visited Bude, Clovelly and Widemouth over our 4 day stay and it was perfectly located for them. Roger provided all the information we needed beforehand with guides to everything we could possibly need. He also responded to messages straightaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay, I would definitely love to return.

A truly lovely little cottage, in a peaceful place and with plenty of privacy. We adored our stay here, and left feeling so well rested. The cottage has a decent living space and kitchen, which was well equipped for all our cooking needs, and was very tidy. The bedroom is spacious and the bed itself is divine, with a very comfortable mattress and decent linen. We bought our dogs and the private courtyard and garden was perfect, and they also loved sleeping in front of the log burner, which was well stocked. Piers was a brilliant host, had provided very good directions to the cottage, and was there to greet us and run through what we needed to know. There was also a tray of thoughtful essentials and milk in the fridge. There was also a really helpful folder of walks and information in the cottage. Highly recommend visiting The Cricket Inn and getting fresh milkshakes from Coleridge Dairy.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Parada cottage , the setting was idyllic and very peaceful. The cottage had everything that we needed and was extremely clean with a beautiful private decking area. Lovely walks from the front door that our dog Jasper particularly enjoyed with the river to swim in and the beach a scenic walk to reach. Tom and Jess were lovely hosts and very welcoming and we would love to return.

The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

We had the most idyllic stay at Higher Lodge. It was perfect for our getaway with 3 dogs. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. Discovering that the side gate led directly (literally) into Cockington Country Park Estate was the icing on the cake. The cottage is really comfortable and homely. The village is quaint and beautiful, quiet but plenty to do with cafes and coffee shops and crafts etc at the estate. The local pub/restaurant (The Drum Inn) was really good value, we ate there twice. I also discovered there is a Cockington Gin which is made locally using botanicals from the village. So purchased a bottle before leaving from the tea room. Thank you Ceri and Daniel our stay was 10/10 x

A lovely hidden gem tucked away in beautiful countryside. We went for a relaxing weekend to chill out and were not disappointed. It's often difficult to find somewhere that accepts four Dalmatians but Sally was extremely dog friendly and we felt very relaxed. The place is in a beautiful setting with attractive fishing lakes to walk around. The house had everything we needed, comfortable beds and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. Nearby Swanacott woods was a ten minute drive away and a great place for the dogs to let off steam. They needed to do this as the free range chickens did tease them a little but luckily none of them ended up in the pot!

A lovely comfortable place to stay whilst exploring Cornwall. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 1 child. A great location and easy walk into Bude and also a great base for travelling around and exploring. We didn’t have any issues during our stay but whenever I have messaged Shaun he’s responded promptly and been really friendly. Thanks Shaun for a fab place to stay! ☺️

House was spotlessly clean. Plenty of pots/pans/crockery/cutlery. Tracy replied to communications within minutes. No problem with parking 2 cars. Short walk to beach and pier. Everything you need for a holiday. Would highly recommend this property. Would recommend visits to Paignton Zoo, we spent the whole day there, and Babbacombe Model Village. 3 days staying in Kallendar to celebrate a birthday has been such a restorative break, it feels like we stayed for longer. The house has a great layout and fabulous views from the living room patio windows and balcony. The kitchen is brilliantly stocked with all you need to do some great cooking, and the dining space also has the great view. The garden is so interesting, multi tiered offering some great space for a burn up in the firepit and sniffing opportunities our dog. ( He's new to us so was on a long lead to ensure he didn't leap over back fence and head for the lake!!) The house was spotless on arrival, with a really generous touch of a bottle of Prosecco, OJ and Milk in the fridge. We cannot recommend this stay enough, we would go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely stunning place with everything you need and more for a fantastic stay, very clean, comfortable and cosy. The property is in a brilliant location, walking distance to the centre of Teignmouth. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be a returning customer.

The house was exactly as described. The accommodation was spacious, bright and airy with everything you would expect and more. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need and great kitchen appliances. The bedrooms were well positioned and beds, pillows and linen were great. The views were spectacular and the house is well positioned to easily access Torquay, Oddington and Babbacombe by car and the local pub and shops are within walking distance. The hot tub was the icing on the cake…. literally! Watching the sunset from it was incredible. The host was friendly and responsive and gave us all the information we needed. We will definitely be returning and thoroughly recommend this property.

We had a gorgeous week away here at Yardley house! Our dogs loved playing in the garden and at the beach which was a 2 min walk from the house! Mark was very helpful and shown us where everything was which was great. I cannot fault this location or the impeccable views!

A superb location and a great place to stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and only a few steps away from food shops. David was very helpful and friendly and we would happily return for another holiday.

A lovely stay in an idyllic setting. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful blossoming garden. The house itself was charming. We will definitely be back. Theresa was very friendly and helpful.

A delightful stay in wonderful surroundings, views are sublime, home from home facilities, dog friendly property with lots of walks, well equipped kitchen although we didn't really cook as there are so many restaurants and bars to try! Julie ensured we had everything we needed and communicated well. look forward to a return visit when we have a bit more time to enjoy ourselves.

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

Toby’s place is a lovely holiday lodge on the Honicombe holiday park. It’s in pristine condition and the hosts, Kevin and Tina, were lovely going above and beyond to make it a great stay. It’s well located for exploring Dartmoor and Cornish coast. Our favourite beach was Tregantle and we also enjoyed the Merrivale stones. Honicombe park is great for kids with use of an indoor and outdoor pool that come free with the cottage, a pub offering good value meals and loads of play areas.

We had an amazing stay at Lesley’s. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was so much to do in the local areas. The caravan was spot on, lovely and clean and we were very grateful for the little hamper and milk when we arrived. Everything was clean and tidy and we particularly loved all the fleecy blankets for that extra cosy touch. Thank you Lesley. Would 100% recommend and stay again

Maureen's place was absolutely ideal for us - a small group, with one toddler in tow. The instructions for finding and getting into the house were really clear, the space was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and the views out of the living room are really lovely. Having access to the pool and gym was lovely, and the pub is a close-by, friendly option for food and a drink. Maureen was incredibly quick to respond to messages as well. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay!

We enjoyed a welcome retreat away in Talland Bay, it was perfect for lots of walking and then soaking in the hot tub with beautiful sea views. We would definitely go back.

our stay was perfect, the views were to die for and so peaceful. if your looking to escape the world this is the place, sitting in the hot tub admiring the views and peacefulness. Even more perfect was being able to sit in the hot tub under cover and listen to the rain on the roof. perfect. the cabin itself has everything you need and was spotless. we will definitely look to return in the future.
