Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pleasure Point

What a special place - it is beautiful, had everything we needed, wanted, and more, and is clearly cared for with love. The garden was gorgeous, hot tub was perfect, best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb. Truly dog friendly, with personalized surprises and great art. Amazing location, walkable to the beach and to food and shops. Thanks Sara!

I stayed here with my wife and son and it was the perfect place. Had a nice little backyard and enough space for the kiddo to roam around. Super comfortable and felt like home away from home. Love how close it is to the Henry Cowell redwoods state park. Kathleen was an excellent host. Would definitely stay here again. 😊

We loved staying at Shelli’s home in Monterey Dunes Colony. Every room was set up nicely and clean, and you could tell Shelli has put a lot of care into the home. There were 7 of us and each family member enjoyed their stay. We love staying at Monterey Dunes Colony because the location can’t be beat. Every home has their quirks but honestly we didn’t find any at Shelli’s. It was comfortable to hang out and enjoy the beach and scenery, and close enough to outdoor activities and the aquarium. The living room is set up comfortably for a big group, while offering privacy too. It was a restful and rejuvenating getaway! We plan to book again.

Our stay here was amazing. The view was awesome, location was perfect and it was the perfect place to stay with two little ones. The beds and furniture were all so comfy and the backyard was a great spot to hang out. Being right on the beach was so relaxing, and hearing the waves at night was priceless. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful stay! Every detail was so thoughtful—from the Sensitive Dove body wash (a lifesaver for my daughter’s sensitive skin) to the soothing fountain and fragrant garden that made the whole place feel like a retreat. We loved dining outside at the large table, with those stunning doors that opened the whole space to the fresh air. The cozy cottage near the pool was the cherry on top. Truly a 10/10 experience—one of the most special Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in!

Vic and Leanne’s place was great. The location could not have been any better. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back again.

First off the photos don’t do this house justice. The spaces, including that wonderful balcony, are bigger than you think. We had 7 adults, a toddler & an infant and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The beds, linens and pillows were so comfy, the multitude of windows to let the ocean air breeze come through, along with fans in the bedrooms, were perfect. The kitchen was the most well equipped I’ve used in an Airbnb before. The wagon, chairs and beach towels were also so nice to have for the short one block walk to Black Beach (one of my favorites in Santa Cruz). Oh and do not let the 1 full bathroom for everyone scare you off. Having the 2 half baths made it all work and we never had an issue. My family LOVED this place and wants to come back so very much. We have spent 26 years coming to Santa Cruz almost annually and this was our best residential experience yet. Thank you to Kim and her Rental Mgr, Nancy, for taking care of us and communicating so well. This family highly recommends!

This is a beautiful property conveniently located in Felton; Scott’s Valley is very close-by. It was a quick and easy get away for us from San Jose. Property is a top of a hill in the redwoods with plenty of sunshine. The huge wrap around deck on two sides of the house with outside table and a bbq grill is a plus. Large windows in the living and dining rooms look out to the same view while indoors. The space is bright and airy and great to hang out with family. Large windows in the master bedroom also has a view. The house is super clean with plush carpeting. It's very comfortable to just hang out. The master bathroom has a lot of space to move around. The only thing negative is road noise from the busy road below the hill. You are hearing noise from every passing truck and Harley echoing up. If you have to sleep with the windows open in the second bedroom (on warm nights, for example), then this would be a consideration if you are sensitive to noise like me.

We had a great time staying in the Treetop Heaven "treehouse"! My wife and I loved the mountain feel of the environment without the excursion into the actual mountains. Amenities, shops, and restaurants are just a mile away and the area has a small town, community feel. Hosts were very attentive and made sure we knew they were available if we needed anything. The accommodations were perfect for the two of us and my wife especially enjoyed our meals on the deck hidden up in the trees! A great place for a getaway!

I chose this stay for my annual lady trip. We frequent the Aptos/Capitola/Santa Cruz area a lot for friends and family and chose this area for the beach/village convenience. Parking was great, I personally loved driving my truck up the small hill. Cameras were excellent for ensuring our safety! Easy to get in and easy access to both the parking/backyard and the village/beach via the small stairs. This place was loaded with amenities and was easy to use them. Loved the little radio for breakfast and clean up! The comforter on the king bed was out of this world comfy. The board games and photography books were a hit when hanging back at the airbnb for midday nights and late night chats with my girlies. Water pressure and heat was fantastic. Futons, king bed, space heater, and fireplace made for very cozy nights/early mornings. The large windows were great for views! Jaime was a great host, my group mentioned her communication and responsiveness was on point!

This is a clean and beautiful place to stay! Very baby friendly! We didn’t realize that there is another unit above the Airbnb - you can hear footsteps occasionally.

Maria Elena's studio apartment is perfect for two people. It is roomy and completely updated. The king size bed is comfortable and the mini-split heat/air conditioner is perfect for the changes in weather in San Jose. The neighborhood is peaceful, safe and walkable to a local grocery, coffee and restaurants. I recommend Maria Elena's apartment and will stay there again on my next trip to San Jose.

QUIET! I am fairly good with maps and finding locations... and love to find well-located homes in a quiet area. The house is on a corner of 2 smaller streets and there really is not any traffic - one of the streets is really 1 lane and very quaint! It is very comfortable and cozy. There were friendly walkers - it is a obviously a great neighborhood. Ben is a great host. The house guide binder was very well put together and helpful....I wish I would have read it as soon as I got in. There is a very interesting walk of about 1 mile to downtown that is all on quiet streets and finally across a bridge into town - take it! Without a doubt, I would stay here again next time I am in Santa Cruz!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. Lawrence was quick to respond when we had a question. There are restaurants within walking distance and grocery stores and good coffee within a mile. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay here again.

The home was clean and very spacious. I was concerned about the cold weather but the house was so cozy. The pool was so close to us and very clean. The hot tub was wonderful. I loved that the home was so close to the water and we could hear the waves crashing. Everything about the home was amazing.

A minor issue with our original reservation was quickly resolved by the PowerWest Team. They responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had a perfect trip. The unit is a beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular ocean front views. We will definitely visit again and stay with PowerWest.

We've been coming to Seascape for over 20 years now and this was one of the better locations for our family. It had grass access and beautiful ocean views. The kids loved the little seating area. Overall the location and space was everything we needed and more.

I rented this house to celebrate my birthday with friends and it was such a beautiful, well sized space. The views were gorgeous and the accommodations were unique and perfect for what we needed. Overall such an amazing stay and would definitely consider coming back again.

This Hacienda was located on top of the Santa Cruz Mountains and was so majestic, peaceful and breathtaking. The house is welcoming and beautifully decorated. The view was incredible, watching the clouds and marine layer blanket over the trees. Each bedroom had comfy beds. Kitchen stock well with everything you need. Bathrooms clean. Heated floors were a nice touch. Sitting outside on various patio levels was magical. Felt like I was at retreat. Lisa was quick to respond. Our family loved staying here and getting away from city noise and hustle bustle. Thank you Lisa and Chris for sharing your home. This place is a real gem.

Jose and Gabriella’s beautiful home exceeded my already heightened expectations after reading the reviews. The pictures do not capture the thought and care they've poured into their property. The kitchen is the heart of this mountain home. It was clearly designed for function and entertaining, and the panoramic view of coastal redwoods was the perfect backdrop for both. It came comprehensively stocked with every imaginable appliance and gadget, including a refrigerator twice the standard size, two full-sized ovens, and a massive island that can comfortably seat ten people. Jose and Gabriella were the perfect hosts, attentive, genuine and pleasant to interact. Easily one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. I wish I didn’t have to leave, but I look forward to returning soon.
