Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. We had a fantastic stay at Sergio’s apartment in Florence. Sergio was an excellent host—responsive, helpful, and very accommodating with our check-in and check-out times, which made our arrival and departure stress-free. The apartment itself was perfect for our family of six. It was spacious, comfortable, and seems to be recently renovated, with updated flooring, tall windows, and modern bathrooms. Everything was comfortable, clean and well-appointed, which made us feel right at home. The location was fantastic, a 10–20 minute walk to heart of Florence and its top attractions, including the Duomo, Uffizi and Accademia galleries, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, and the leather markets. We also enjoyed a couple of great local restaurants right across the street from the apartment. Osteria Cancello Dei Macci has amazing service and an incredible bistecca alla fiorentina, and Canto de' Macci also has excellent food and service. I highly recommend a stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The view was absolutely breathtaking – waking up to the stunning Tuscan landscape was a true highlight. Communication with our host was smooth and friendly, and the check-in process was super easy. Unfortunately, we had to leave a bit earlier than planned due to health reasons, but that didn’t take away from the wonderful experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

Carlo and Elena made sure that we felt at home right away. The welcome was the best you could ask for. The place is beautiful and clean and very comfy. They gave us a lot of tips for the area. And surprised us multiple times with delicious treats. We will be back for sure.
