Located in the Municipality of Pietrarubbia in the heart of Montefeltro on the north side with respect to the center of the capital, in a wonderful panoramic position 700 m above sea level, it enjoys a cool climate and ideal for escaping the summer afe. From this location you can see to the south the most beautiful mountains of the Apennine back until you reach Mount Conero, and to some typical towns of Montefeltro such as Sassocorvaro and Urbino. In the northwest is Mount Carpegna with its evocative Ripa called "Costa dei Salti" that highlights the sandstone-type stratification of Mount Carpegna. It is possible to reach in a few kilometers small and important ancient villages such as San Leo, Montecerignone, Cavoleto, Frontino and many others that offer, especially in the summer, local festivals and medieval revisions for a dip in the past. The house is surrounded by meadows and forests of evocative beauty and an still unspoiled environment, inhabited in every corner by nature, a privileged guest and always present, it offers an ideal place to rest your mind and body. Guests will have access to the entire property with all the amenities provided Guests will be assisted by the facility staff for any eventuality or need. The staff will also be happy to explain nature trails and itineraries and suggest popular events in the surrounding area. Pietrarubbia is a hilly village of medieval origins. The village is dominated by the majestic summit of Mount Carpegna, which shows on this steep slope side, with thick beech trees alternating with the bare rock; allaround there is a varied mosaic of crops, woodland and, here and there, of sharp rocky spikes dominated by ancient fortresses. The ancient village is a short walk away and deserves your attention. The extensive land around the house is magnificent to visit on horseback or with a beautiful walk. Wonderful place in calm and tranquil area! The house, pool and garden are beautiful, a real Tuscany dream! The house is rented out via an agency, that manages all the practicalities before arrival, but the hosts live close by and were extremely welcoming! They don't speak English very well, but we managed very well with signs and Google translate. They met us at the house with a platter of local snacks, wine and juice. Inside the house was fresh fruit and their own white wine, honey, olive oil etc. They visited twice during our stay to clean the pool and both times left us presents, the first time a basket of fresh vegetables and eggs, the second time a selection of cakes. When we had trouble with a missing pizzaspade, they came right away. The communication was easy and quick. In conclusion: a completely wonderful stay in the most beautiful surroundings and with the nicest and friendliest hosts! If we ever get the chance, we will most certainly come back!
