Wir haben schon einige Airbnbs gebucht, aber Bryan und Sara haben mit ihrem Airbnb besonders heraus gestochen. Sie waren die freundlichsten, zuvorkommendsten und hilfsbereitesten Hosts, die wir je hatten. Sie standen uns nicht nur mit Rat und Tat bei allen Aktivitäten zur Seite, sondern halfen uns auch bei allen Anliegen rund um die Unterkunft und den Aufenthalt. Besonders für Gäste, die auf einen ruhigen und entspannten Urlaub in der Toskana Lust haben und dabei authentisches italienisches Flair genießen möchten, ist diese Unterkunft perfekt. Lara is the most welcoming and heartfelt person. Our stay at La Radice couldn’t be any better really. The house and garden was amazing as well as Lara’s restaurant with the most delicious homemade food. Everything made us feel very at home. We are very thankful for the stay and Lara’s help during our journey. Thank you for your kindness. We’ll definitely come back next year :) Grazie

Unser Urlaub in Barga Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in der Ferienwohnung von Laura und Paolo im Mai 2025 verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll und außergewöhnlich schön eingerichtet, es war alles vorhanden, was wir für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt brauchten – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Besonders genossen haben wir den traumhaften Blick Barga und den täglichen „Sound of Barga“. Auch unsere Ausflüge, unter anderem nach Lucca, Florenz, Pietrasanta und Pisa, haben diesen Urlaub zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Herzlichen Dank an Laura und Paolo für diese schöne Zeit – wir können den Aufenthalt und die Wohnung wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

La casa è davvero incantevole, c’è un gran dettaglio e una grande cura di tutti gli ambianti, sia dentro casa che fuori in giardino. Dalla casa , numerose sono le passeggiate, c’è anche un fiumicelli che passa sotto casa.

We have enjoyed the stay in the house! Het ligt op een mooie plek. Is compleet met een heerlijk bed. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal! Op wandelafstand is een leuk en authentiek restaurant. Luca, La Spezia maar ook de lokale plaatjes in de buurt zijn leuk om te bezoeken. De gastvrouw spreekt meerdere talen, staat altijd voor je klaar en heeft leuke tips over de omgeving.

Ubytovanie disponuje úžasnými výhľadmi, ktoré sa každú chvíľu menia. Krb nám spríjemňoval večery. Marco a jeho otec majú dobré srdce. Cesta hore na ubytovanie bola pre mňa úžasná, dobrodružná a plná smiechu. Po tomto ubytovaní zvažujem kúpu Pandy pretože mi tak prirástlo k srdcu. Toto ubytovanie je perfektné pre ľudí, ktorí potrebujú spomaliť od každodenného zhonu. Toto ubytovanie, jeho prostredie a krása prírody vás núti zhlboka sa nadýchnuť a jednoducho byť prítomný.

Der Aufenthalt war wunderschön! Die Villa war unglaublich, der Ausblick, die Möbel, die Zimmer und der Pool. Wir waren so glücklich, dort zu sein. Die Zimmer waren neu und sauber. Auf jedes Detail wurde geachtet. Christina war unglaublich hilfreiche und immer erreichbar. Ohne sie wären wir aufgeschmissen. Wir hatten leider öfter private Probleme und jedes Mal hat sie uns geholfen und uns Lösungen gebracht. Wir mich und meine Freunde war dieser Aufenthalt unvergesslich!

We had a wonderful time at Marina's beautiful house! The children all absolutely loved the pool, and we have everything we needed in the house for living comfortably. The views are spectacular! And with Lucca only a short drive away we were spoiled for choice with things to do. Marina and Paulo were very friendly and helpful, with local recommendations and booking restaurants etc. It's definitely a holiday we'll remember and I would 100% recommend staying here! We had a wonderful stay with family and friends, including young children, in Brian's lovely villa. The property has fantastic views and is enormous. Brian was very helpful throughout our stay. He arranged a delicious meal for us one evening. We were particularly grateful that they came up with a special vegan menu for two of our friends, who really appreciated the effort and the food! I would definitely go back.

We had the most wonderful stay at Olga’s place. We had 6 adults and two children and there was still plenty of space. The house was beautifully appointed and the outdoor space with the view was the perfect place to relax.

Pobyt w willi był absolutnie wyjątkowy. Dom był w pełni wyposażony, bardzo czysty i urządzony ze smakiem. Basen to prawdziwa perełka – idealny do relaksu w pięknej okolicy. Gospodarz był pomocny i zawsze dostępny. Tuż za rogiem bardzo dobra pizzeria. Wszystko było idealnie – z czystym sumieniem polecam!

Echt een fantastisch verblijf, nog beter dan op de foto’s. Echt alles in aanwezig in het ruime huis. Je hoeft zelf geen speelgoed mee te nemen of babyspullen. Ook een heerlijk zwembad en prachtige tuin. Leuk voor kleine en wat grotere kinderen. De eerste keer is de smalle weg ernaar toe een beetje spannend, maar gelukkig reed er iemand mee. Daarna geen probleem meer. Het is heel privé allemaal en Lucca is in de buurt. Wij komen hopelijk een keer terug.

Superbe petite maison dans les collines de Toscane, à l'abri des regards et de la foule, avec une piscine bien ensoleillée. La maison est parfaite pour 4. Nous sommes venus avec nos 2 chiens qui étaient heureux d'avoir un terrain tout clôturé. Si il faut trouver une remarque, il faudrait juste des rideaux plus épais dans la grande chambre pour avoir moins de soleil le matin. Tout était parfait. Merci Ilaria

We had an amazing stay at Juri's beautiful villa in Tuscany! The place is super spacious, easily accommodating our group of 11, and it was spotless and very well maintained. Juri and his mom were incredible hosts—always responsive and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The location is also perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. If you're looking for a charming, well-kept and very clean villa with top-notch hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommend! Let me know if you'd like any tweaks!

Wat een heerlijk verblijf op een schitterende locatie! Het huis is met veel smaak en sfeer ingericht, wat meteen zorgt voor een warm welkom. De weg ernaartoe vergt wat inspanning – zeker met zware boodschappentassen – maar de adembenemende vergezichten onderweg maken die klim naar deze mooie locatie meer dan de moeite waard.

Ein außerordentlich schönes Haus, ein bisschen wie ein Museum. Aber kein verstaubtes, sondern alles wirkt in Gebrauch. Der Garten besteht vor allem aus Olivenbäumen, was dem Ganzen eine wunderbare Aura gibt. Wir mochten die Küche, sehr einladend, viel gekocht. Und natürlich den kleinen Billardraum. Gianluca ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Mensch, hat uns mit vielen guten Tipps überhäuft. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Caterina was so friendly from the get-go, and gave us really clear instructions for finding the accommodation and checking in. The house itself is beautiful - it's stylish, spacious and clean. The location is great too, within walking distance of both the train station and the sights of Lucca. Caterina provided some excellent restaurant recommendations which didn't disappoint! I would recommend to anyone staying in Lucca and will definitely book if we visit again.

Andrea was such a wonderful and helpful host! Had some struggles with finding a ride to the place and Andrea called people for us while being out of town! So helpful with his communication and his kindness. Definitely need to keep in mind it is a 10 min. drive from the closest town so if you don’t have a car or great Italian transportation can be tricky. We used the bus system but very particular about the timing and last rides are around 4:30pm so just plan around that! Other than that place is exactly as described, amazing views, and helpful host. Definitely recommend if you want a cozy get away and some alone time with the mountains!

This villa was something out of a dream. Stefania was so lovely and wonderful with recommendations and booking us a rez at a fantastic local gem of a restaurant. The views were incredible and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The villa itself was cozy and inviting. The outside seating area was well used by us for nightcaps, dinner and conversations about falling in love with Tuscany and all it's amazing nooks and crannies. We wanted a picturesque and home-like central base for our 10 day adventure in Italy and we're delighted with the accommodations that really was like something out of a movie. Lucca was only a short drive away and offered the best grocery store-Esselunga! Thank you Stefania for your warm generosity, kindness and suggestions. This was a birthday trip that we will never forget and cemented our longing to return soon!

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

This is my third visit to the Lucca area, but my first time to stay inside the city walls. Fabrizio’s apartment is perfect with respect to location, style, and quality. The terrace is such a haven. Any meals we cooked were eaten out there, and a glass of wine in the evening is a must while you listen to the lively vibe of Lucca.

Die Aussicht über die weite Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Garten ist ein echtes Highlight – ideal für gemütliche Abende im Freien. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat schnell auf alle Fragen reagiert. Insgesamt eine perfekte Unterkunft für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Aufenthalt. Sehr empfehlenswert!
