We stayed here for one month and had a fantastic time. Manny is a great host and we felt very welcome. Boaventura is the perfect place if you are looking for a peaceful escape. There is a small supermarket in walking distance with very friendly staff and everything you need. There are a few different trails you can take and enjoy the beautiful nature or just enjoy the sun while sitting on the balcony. The internet is fast and reliable. We highly recommend this place. We had a great stay in Porto Da Cruz. Carolyn and Marc where very helpful and made our stay delightful . The view from the apartment is stunning, you have access to a terrace just above where you can enjoy an even better view with a glass of Madeira in the evening 😉 Porto da Cruz is a nice coastal village with good restaurants. It is close from a lots of good walks. The beach and the sea water swimming pool are great to relax after a long walk. Everything is at walking distance from the apartment. You can park your rental car in front of the apartment. We highly recommend this place.

Really a wonderful place, tranquil, beautiful surroundings, quiet. Lovely that they leave some fresh eggs, vegetables, pellets for the fire. It just gets a bit cold, so necessary to bring warm clothes, and nothing dries inside, there’s a clothes rack outside though. Easy communication and very accommodating with everything! we loved the place. Just keep in mind that no restaurants are really close-by as in walking, so you always need to drive down.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this apartment! If you are even remotely considering it- do it! The hosts were very welcoming, responsive, and easy going, and the apartment had everything we needed plus a beautiful 360 degree roof top view.
