Apartment vacation rentals in Paignton Beach

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Our second stay at this lovely apartment overlooking the estuary. I could spend all day just sitting on the balcony watching the people and their boats. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and with me not being very mobile it was well placed for everything with the huge bonus of a parking space - these are as rare as hens' teeth in Salcombe! Sarah was very quick to respond when I had a few questions to ask her shortly before our stay. I'd recommend this little flat to anyone wanting to stay in Salcombe. I'd also recommend the tasting session at Devon Rum - my mobility seemed to improve after that haha

A very comfortable place to stay. the apartment was very comfortable with everything you need. Parking was a bit tight at times when getting out, but minor. We would love to stay again, thank you Paul and Daphne

Excellent location if visiting Exeter. Enjoyed being able to walk to Train Stations, shopping and restaurants. Excellent location for visiting the region. All amenities needed are provided and the bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch.

Very lovely stay in a great area of Exeter. Amy was very helpful with any questions I had and made sure I enjoyed my visit.

Kim’s flat is exactly as pictured, me and my partner had such a wonderful stay, we felt right at home immediately and felt so lucky to be staying in such a lovely spot! I would recommend this stay to everyone, thank you so much!

This place was perfect for my month accommodation for university placement. It was stocked with cleaning supplies and also long life cooking supplies that previous people had left so you don’t have to buy all your supplies like normal. The bathroom is huge and the parking great for a small car. They also bought an extension cable to accommodate the need for my ps5. Only complaint would be the upstairs neighbors footsteps were pretty loud at night. Not sure there is much that could be done to stop that. Thanks for a great stay.

Great stay in Torquay! Clean apartment in a peaceful location, close enough to the beach, shops, etc. Comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, and quiet at night. Host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Bedrooms were really super. Whole apartment was decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. Kitchen had enough equipment to do a breakfast / snack or microwave meal but there is only a microwave oven and rings. Access was via a smart lock which was very easy to use and worked really well - much better than usual Lockbox. Extremely convenient location. Short walk to Torre Abbey and the seafront.

Great place to stay for two, has everything you need including a well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the beach and town. Very clean and comfy furniture. Parking was never an issue. Only thing I would note is people live above but this did not disturb our sleep.

Really enjoyed our stay with Tina. The apartment is very comfortable and the mattress so soft you'll fall asleep in 2 minutes. We really appreciated the personal surprise touch when we opened the fridge. There was a lovely bottle of wine for us as well as bar of luxury chocolate on the table. We highly recommend Tina as a host if you plan on going to Devon. Easy access to the motorway makes it a must to stay in.

What can I say. What a beautiful apartment that was even better than the photos. A lot of attention to detail and stylish decoration with the most amazing outside area with views of Salcombe. Spotless clean and appreciated the early check in and offer to leave our car after we had checked out. Pauline was great and sent lots of recommendations of places to eat and walk, with it being our first time there. Small touches of tea, coffee and cake when you arrive. Could not fault anything.

Great apartment right in the centre of Dartmouth surrounded by fantastic restaurants, independent shops and activities on the water. The space was characterful and easy to use. Hosts were really helpful.

The flat was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The double bed was very comfy and I slept well. It was a short 10 minute downhill walk into the town. Caught a taxi back to save our legs.

Really nice top floor flat with great views of the harbour. Glenn was a top host and really responsive providing clear instructions. Would highly recommend!

Great stay at the recording studios, the place was clean and in stunning surrounds, with amazing views! Hot tub was great, kitchen was great for a week of family meals. Not far to walk into Salcombe town centre where there are some lovely pubs and restaurants! All round a great stay thank you!

Katy and Dales B&B was exemplary - extremely tidy and service was the best I’ve experienced. Any issues or questions were responded to within an hour when we were staying there. We had an issue with the TV and Dale came over within 15 minutes and helped out, even taking his shoes off outside before entering which I thought showed his respect for not only us but his property. It was also my partners 21st birthday surprise and Dale sorted me some banners, balloons, a cake and some Prosecco for a small fee! This is a walkable distance from anything in Babbacombe and arguably Torquay, although we did end up getting a taxi. Also, ask Dale for recommendations on food places, the restaurant Twenty1 was amazing. Overall, 5* stay - could not be faulted and if we’re back in Babbacombe/Torquay again I know where I will stay! Heron’s Reach is an absolute gem! So comfortable and relaxing that our 2 nights away felt like a week! Would definitely recommend - ideal for taking it easy in Budleigh Salterton or exploring further afield.

Sara’s place is the perfect place to escape with the kids. Sara was super responsive. Easy check in and gaining access to the caravan. The welcoming hamper and card was lovely and gave it a personal touch. The caravan was pristine. We would recommend staying here to everyone, we will definitely be back.

This was a perfect spot for a beach holiday with extended family. The house is so close to the beach, brilliant for morning and evening walks with the dog, and not too far to walk to the lifeguarded area for swimming. Close to great fish and chips too! The house was exactly what we needed, with plenty of space for cooking, eating together and watching the Olympics on the sofa when the afternoon sun got too hot to be outdoors. The decking area (with excellent sunshades) and hot tub were a bonus. While in Exmouth we tried the barge yoga organised by Exewake - would highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic break at The Annex in Frogmore. It was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the home was beautifully clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the estuary and walking across to the pub opposite in the evenings.

Great place for a girls getaway. Lovely location within easy walk to lots of restaurants and shops. Place was clean and as described, flexible with check in and check out (due to nobody being in after us). I would stay there again.
