Monthly Rentals in Paauilo

The place is very sweet. An awesome location - walkable to the sweet small town of Honoka’a and also very secluded and private feeling with amazing views and awesome rainforest sounds. We would have loved to be here without a kiddo - As most things to do were somewhere like 40 minutes away which is limiting with kids. But the large open space and the jacuzzi tub were a hit with the kid, even when it poured for 24 hours. Which was also an amazing experience as the jungle like foliage around us made for an awesome rain storm experience. Patricia was responsive and helpful and very flexible with our schedule etc. and check in was easy. And it was easy to find! Thanks for a great place to land on the big island!

The tiny house is just perfect--clean, comfortable, and full of amenities like extra blankets for cool nights and a full kitchen with loads of equipment. The grounds are extensive and gorgeous, with tropical trees, bushes, and flowering vines. What made our stay really special was T, who was incredibly friendly and generous with his time and knowledge. He took us on a tour of his 5-acre grounds, brought us fresh-picked fruit, and told us about great places to hike and see whales. His warmth made us feel welcome in a way that's very hard to find. This has been our best Airbnb stay so far, and Bonnie and David are the best hosts! They are incredibly friendly. Their place is spacious and super clean; it's also well-stocked with everything you might need, and the decorations are tasteful yet unpretentious - it feels like home! The Wi-Fi was reliable too, which was important for us to work remotely. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a longer stay on the Big Island.
