The house is cozy and comfortable. Very easy to find. The host is great, very clear instructions.

Perfect jumping off point for Acadia or just enjoying the rural down east lifestyle. Through the wildflowers and apple trees is a well-maintained trail that leads to the beautiful river shore, making for a perfect evening walk before coming back and having a fire.

Chris’s place was beautiful and spotless. Had everything you could possibly need while being away from home. Anything I needed was right already provided, along with snacks for hikes and pancake mix that we used for breakfast on our final day before leaving. From the beautiful bathroom with the shower AND the tub, to the high ceilings in the kitchen/living room, the art that is all around the home, games, entertainment, etc. this place is absolutely perfect and we can’t wait to make our next trip to Maine to stay here again! We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was super cute and had everything we needed. The location was great as well. It wasn’t too far of a drive to spend the day inAcadia. We also enjoyed visiting Deer Isle and saw an amazing sunset at Caterpillar Hill.
