This stay was even better than I could have imagined. The scenery was so beautiful. The Airbnb itself was very comfortable and cozy and a perfect spot to hang out and rest in. I would def recommend this place and would love to come back.

Very quiet, cozy and stylish little cottage- Perfect for a solo getaway for this full time working mom to recharge. The place itself was clean and also felt right at home. I love the octopus painted on the floor and walls and the antique furniture and how the place still felt modern. The yard surrounding it is tranquil and the cat who sleeps in the outdoor chair is super friendly and soft. The cottage is also within walking distance of the Arcata Plaza which gas great shops, grocery stores and restaurants/cafés and within a reasonable driving distance of the most beautiful National Parks in CA with giant redwoods and also near lots of beautiful beaches. I highly recommend this Air Bnb and would absolutely return for another trip 😊❤️ Thank you Johanna!

Great location 2 mins from pebble beach! House was well stocked with everything we needed master bath sauna worked perfectly!! Quiet neighborhood on a clear night you can hear the waves crashing! The house is clean and well maintained. Had a great stay at the local’s place! Would stay again next time we go to crescent city!

My 2 best friends and I love visiting the North Coast every year for a relaxing getaway. We think we have found our dream home for that trip from now on. The house was just as pictured and Pauline was a lovely, thoughtful host. She was very informative and helpful leading up to the trip and then following our orientation, left us to enjoy her beautiful cottage. The house is 3 minutes from the grocery store in Fortuna so very accessible but nestled up in the redwoods making you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere. We each had our own room and were very comfortable. Thank you again for sharing your unique cottage with us!

Great place, very private and relaxing locations. The home has everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils…everything! Rooms were free of clutter, private, with linens and extra bedding. Overall a great place. There was a puzzle with 300 pieces. Box said it was missing pieces. I built it and found it was missing 65 pieces. Went into the play room to find lots of board games and managed to find 50+ pieces! Let’s see if other guests can find the remaining 10-ish!. This is where I docked a star in cleanliness. We wanted to play board games or card games but the majority was all mixed and missing pieces. Other than that, the place was as described. Thank you!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway surrounded by the sounds of nature and the distant crash of the ocean. I hope to come back.

Cozy room with amazing amenities. 10/10 would recommend

I loved this place. Comfy bed. Amazing bathroom. The wifi worked great and I also got a few bars of TMobile service. If it’s cold weather season, ask them to turn on heat well before you arrive and they also have an extra space heater if needed.

Eileen was great and very sweet letting us check in a little early because we got to town before we thought we would. It was a great place for the kids and we were able to walk to breakfast and the farmers market. Thanks Eileen!
