i stayed here for 2 nights. easy check in, very clean room, comfortable bed, very central location with plenty of shops right outside. despite being right in the middle of the town, the space is so serene and quiet the moment you enter the compound. the air is also very cool because the room has alot of shade and plants! hardly needed the air conditioning. however, do bring your own ammenities as he only provides a bar soap. i also had one very loud tokay gecko at night (which was very cute) and grasshoppers in the morning right outside my room, so for those who don't like bugs and lizards do note.

We had a great stay in Ubud! This location is great! The room is private and clean, the shower is great and has warm water. Wayan was attentive and very helpful with recommendations and helped us to book scooters. The location is very close to the sacred monkey forest and restaurants.

The key strength of this place is the location which is located right in the heart of Ubud. You can walk to lots of restaurants, shops and attractions. Place was clean and surprisingly quiet although it’s located near the busy road. The only downside is the shower heater was a little sketchy. Be aware that the accommodation was off the main road and you’ll need to walk through a small alley to reach it however it’s expected given the price. Lastly Putu cooking was fantastic. She cooked for me on my last night and i think it can even beat most restaurants in Ubud.

Carmen is an exceptional host- always available to help. There’s a warung across the street with really delicious food and also a shop with many miscellaneous things next door, so all your needs are provided right where you’re at. Everyone in the village is extremely kind and welcoming. I had a very peaceful stay and learned a lot about real Balinese culture.
