Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Northumberland

We needed a nice peaceful relaxing few days away and that’s exactly what we got. Emily and Alun gave great recommendations for local walks, pubs and restaurants. The accommodation was spotless, well stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend.

Exquisite interior design that really added to the stay; hot tub was an absolute delight at the end of each day; location superb; enjoyed sitting at the rock pools watching dolphins - a true blessing; local amenities perfect; loved the proximity to the sea which meant I could have safe evening walks admiring the sunset and enjoying the peaceful sea views at night. Highly recommend. Thank you also Jen for the delicious scones, jam and cream!

Emma’s place is lovely exactly as described. The garden was a great bonus hot tub was wonderful. We were in Newcastle due to the Magic Weekend so we used the house as a base for 2 families. Everyone had a great time perfect place for us to get together. Communications were very good.. Thank you Emma and your family for allowing us to stay in your home.

Had a great weekend at Tumbler Rock Retreat with 8 family members and my dog. The house is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need. The garden was lovely and private with a fabulous hottub and plenty of seating. Really could not fault the house and there were 2 delicious cream sponges from the local bakers, bread and fresh milk waiting for us on arrival. The host Anthea was very friendly and gave us very clear instructions. The local village was great too with many nice places to eat that were also dog friendly. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

A really lovely stay in Beadnell, the location was just perfect, a stones throw from Beadnell Bay beach. 5 minutes by car to Seahouses and just over 10 minutes to Bamburgh Castle. We also went to Holy Island, which was 25 minutes away. The property was as described although the listing says shower gel etc is provided, it isn't, only handwash at the basins. Towels weren't as 'fluffy' as you'd like after a day at the beach but these are just small things. The hot tub was a brilliant perk and the reason we opted for Claires place over others on the same development. Claire was super friendly and responsive and we would stay again in a heart beat.

Great place for a gals getaway. Loved the enclosed garden for the dogs and the party space with log burner in garden! Really handy for waterspouts too- we did paddle boarding at Kielder Waterside which was fab.

I was working nights and needed a place that was quiet and near my location of work. I had to change the days at the last minute and Terry was obliging and understanding. Had a brief chat with the neighbours who were also friendly.

Marmic Cottage was the perfect base for our visit to Northumberland. Kerry was great, very quick to respond both before and during our stay. We loved the recliner sofa, great to relax and watch (fall asleep in front of) a film after a busy day exploring. The bed was comfy and the kitchen and bathroom - the whole place - was spotlessly clean. The hot tub and garden were also great and much appreciated for relaxing aching muscles! We absolutely loved our time in Northumberland, visiting lots of castles and exploring the coastline. Alnwick Castle, the Farne Islands boat trip and Vindolanda were definite highlights for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either the area or the cottage :-)

We had the most amazing stay here! Jane was so lovely and she gave us everything we needed, she was so friendly and made us feel so welcome! We will definitely be back :))

Paradise in the country side

we throughly enjoyed our stay here. excellent location. cabin was clean, homely and spacious! would stay here again. only downfall would be the jets on the hot tub could do with being updated as some of them never worked so we had to take it in turns. overall a fantastic stay!

Absolutley incredible stay here at Martins place. He’s such a friendly guy and really quick response time. the lodge was absolutley beautiful so clean and homey, there was even a set of straighteners which i was over the moon with!! Loads of fab walks around the area we loved the waterfall and our dog loved it aswell! We will defo be back thank you Martin! x

Beautiful spot perfect for a peaceful getaway. The studio is well spacious and equipped with everything you would need, not to mention the terrace and hot tub that is perfect for a relaxing evening. The location is ideal for getting around to any of the local walking/hiking spots. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at this wonderful property. The lodge is beautiful, spacious and in a fantastic location with a private area at the rear. The complex has a lovely atmosphere with a nice bar which serves great food. The owner was on hand to answer any questions and made sure we knew we could contact him if we had any issues.....we didnt. All in all this was everything we expected and more. Stunning! We will be back!

It was an absolute pleasure to spend 3 nights at Huntercrook Lodge. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful lodge or to the stunning views. The location is excellent with plenty of walks available. The lodge is very well-equipped, impeccably clean and is just so comfortable. The small touches are all there and we were very grateful for the welcome basket, homemade cake and bottle of prosecco. We loved sitting on the veranda or in the hot tub with some drinks taking in the views. We enjoyed walks to Twice Brewed, Hadrian's Wall and Sycamore Gap but spent most of our time enjoying the lodge. Julia and Robin are excellent hosts and I can't recommend a stay at Huntercrook highly enough. I look forward to returning in the future!
