Cabin vacation rentals in Northern Norway

A beautiful home with direct access to the lake that is well worth the price paid. We were able to see the most beautiful northern lights of our vacation from the pontoon! The sauna and ice bath were also a great experience! A big thank you to Aino and Ana for hosting, advice and flexibility. We will come back without hesitation if we have the chance.

what can I say? it was heaven. the cabin was beautiful, even nicer than the pics if that's possible. it was warm, clean, cosy and had all the amentities you could want. the views were incredible. the hosts came back really quickly to any questions, I really can't rate it enough. we're not even home 24 hours and already planning our next trip!

This cabin is a really jewel in the heart of Lyngen. The surrounding Is simply amazing, the Sea in front of and the Alps behind. One afternoon we started with our skies from the house to go up to the woods and after the descent we chilled up in the jacuzzi and sauna under a soft snowstorm. Unbeliveble. The first day were thoughs times due to and artic storm, infact we were stocked in Tromsoe, but the communication with the host was perfect and they really help us to arrive at home. Thank you for everything! Absolutely reccomended.

The location is excellent and the view of the panorama is fantastic.🤩 We were able to observe the Northern Lights directly from the house. The accommodation has everything you need and is very cozy. (Just a small note: there is no freezer) We would have preferred not to leave at all.

We had the most PERFECT week here and were so sad to leave. We felt instantly at home in the warm, cosy cabin. Everything you need is here and more. Enjoying a hot tub under the stars in the tranquility of the forest and then into the sauna is a perfect end to your day. The forest is so peaceful and you can enjoy wonderful walks right from your front door. There were sledges for our children to borrow and to enjoy on the slopes outside the house plus the Suomu ski resort was a short walk away and easy to hire skis here and get a lesson. We enjoyed a husky experience and reindeer feeding at Salla and the Riisitunturi National Park was well worth the hour or so drive. Or just staying at the cabin and relaxing is perfect too. This was our second visit to this cabin and we would so love to return here again one day- it’s truly magical and has been the best holiday for us and our 4 small children. I recommend book it today- you will absolutely LOVE it! This accommodation is perfection.

What a gem! We loved the views, proximity to beaches and Leknes, and the amazingly clean and well set up home. Very comfortable and cozy with views of northern lights from the deck!

To describe it in 3 words: Cozy, relaxing, private. We had wonderful 4 days and nights at the lake retreat, enjoying the fire places, hot tub and sauna as well as snow shoe walks and Aurora spotting on the frozen lake. We especially liked how calm and private the place was, it felt very special to be in such a remote and picturesque place. The whole cottage is well equipped, however we recommend bringing your own slippers and bath robe to be able to use the amenities comfortably. We would also like to highlight that the hosts were always available for questions and answered very quickly. We would definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The Place is so beautiful and cozy, surrounded by forest! Perfect to relax!

We had an amazing time in Vengsøy! The cabin, the view, and the island were like something out of a Norwegian winter fairy tale. Maria is incredibly friendly and offered us many great tips about the area. She's very warm and welcoming. We did the hike to Hundbergtinden, and it was absolutely breathtaking – we were the only ones there! Vengsøy, the cabins, and especially Maria are highly recommended. We hope to return soon! ❄️❤️

The villa swamp is a stunning, museum-like haven of peace and nature. Hunting land can be found nearby and you can really enjoy your vacation in peace. Carrying water and no-electricity is suitable for this place. Alex is great hosts and ready to help if needed. Everything went just as planned.

Amazing place. It was our highlight of the whole trip. We expected what we saw in the photos, but in reality it was even better. We had everything we needed on site, it was beautiful and comfortable, the cabin has a crazy energy! I regularly return to visit countries twice and on my next visit to Les Lofoten, 100% sure I will spend my entire stay here. As a bonus: two out of three nights, we saw the Northern Lights were born while we were just sitting on the couch. On the second night, they exploded in the sky, it crowned it all!

Our Stay at Essie’s and Pieter’s Cabin was marvelous. The Cabin was really cute and convenient, the location was perfect, close to the nature and in a calm place. It was perfect to stay during winter, and we will come back someday to discover the place during summer !

The cottage is beautifully located on a small lake with perfect views of the beautiful northern lights (the strongest we have ever seen!) We could even see and watch the lights from the bed through the large window. It is a quiet place and perfect for relaxing and escaping the stress of everyday life. The cottage is very nice and cozy and you have everything you need. Through the large windows you feel even a little closer to nature. If you want to relax in the middle of the forest in front of a fireplace in winter, take a sauna in between and then go hunting for northern lights, this is the place to be. (there is also the possibility for snowshoeing etc. However, we have not tried that ourselves)

Recommended, peace of mind is assured !

It was a great and peaceful stay in Kristian’s and his family cabin. You can see the attention they put in making it comfortable and homey. On top of that, the surroundings are gorgeous and the view can keep you looking out for hours. If you have a chance to stay there, just book it!

I was allowed to stay at Bjørn's Airbnb 2 years ago and fell in love with the house and surroundings. I would claim that Bjørn owns one of the nicest Airbnb on this platform. But not only the house and the breathtaking view of the fjord but also the extremely friendly hospitality of Bjørn makes this place so special.

Had a great stay! Cottage was more beautiful in real life than in the photos. Surroundings were also beautiful. Otherwise is really friendly and answer all your questions. Last day of our stay only there were no buses, because it was the weekend that made us want to cancel the last night and this was not a problem. You are 45 minutes from the city, but if you want to rest and be closer to nature, this is a great place! Public transportation can be reached from the cottage with the Svipper app. All in all, we enjoyed it here and recommend it to everyone!

What a wonderful experience we had at the Riekonkieppi cottage. The perfect place for the full Lapland experience. The cottage, the sauna, the hottub, the kota, the quiet environment and the view on the lake. It was magical. We really enjoyed from the first to the last minute. Lotta the host was really helpful and friendly. We also booked a car and activities with her and everything was really good arranged. For a small family or friends, we can highly recommend this great cottage.

Amazing place to stay in the Lyngen Alps. We stayed a few days in Ronald’s cabin and it was perfect : lots of outdoor activities and amazing landscapes. In the cabin, you can enjoy the view during the day, relax in the sauna, chill in the living room, have a good time in the grill hut, and of course, watching the Northern lights. Highly recommended!

We would give 6 out of 5 stars if that were possible! Eva and Inge’s cabin is truly special, furnished with so much love and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to escape the stress of everyday life, this cabin is the perfect spot! The hosts, Eva and Inge, were always available and incredibly helpful. Highly, highly recommended!
