Awesome house in North Norway, can't wait to go there again!

Great place to stay! Maja was quick to respond and helped facilitate our arrival. Guests had everything they might need for their stay and only had positive things to say about the space. Recommended to others who will be visiting and we would like to come back in the future.

This is the luckiest cottage where we see the Aurora and there is a famous walking trail close to the house.We walk along the small road for about 300 meters, which is great for viewing the aurora.The room is clean and tidy, fully equipped with facilities, and the sea view is beautiful.

The stay was quite peaceful and we had everything we needed. Thanks for being a great HOST and for all the clear instructions.

The stay was fantastic! The house is a real gem. We disturbed the neighbors a little during a long evening in the jacuzzi and we're sorry… for the next guests, remember not to party outside after 11pm! Thank you so much for this nice welcome in this wonderful area

We really enjoyed our stay here a great deal and will be back. It is isolated and very quiet and peaceful. We did the snowmobile tour with Rickhard and it was fantastic. Cecelia and Rickard were super friendly and helpful.

Amazing place by the beach. Super comfortable with tons of amenities, prime location, super friendly and responsive hosts. Only thing to note was that it was not super clean all around. Not dirty or gross by any means, but I think cleanliness and order could be improved slightly to improve the experience. Overall we loved the place and would stay there again!

My wife and I spent a little over a month in this great place during our workation. The Internet connection was always stable and absolutely sufficient for online meetings and remote work. The house offers a lot of space and a lot of space to move around and is very cozy even on stormy days. The panorama from the place is breathtaking. The accommodation has everything you need and is well-equipped. On several nights, the northern lights danced directly above the house. For shopping, you can drive 10 minutes to a small Spar or 20 minutes to Leknes. You'll find everything there. The place is ideally located for excursions. From there you can visit many beautiful places in Lofoten. The host Tor was very friendly and helpful and he always responds very quickly to messages. We felt completely comfortable and would book this place again 100%.

Very nice place with incredible friendly hosts. Place has really everything you might need and more. Air fryer, all kitchen supplies (sharp knives!), basic spices and ingredients, first aid stuff and many more. I would love to visit them again.

As our plane from Oslo landed late at night, when it was already dark, we spent one night at Monica's place before continuing our journey. It was a very good idea because the accommodation is very pleasant, comfortable and well-equipped. We almost felt at home. Communication with Monica was efficient and prompt. Although we have not personally met Monica, we can say that she is a very friendly and accommodating person. She did me a huge favor with my forgotten toiletry bag and I'm very grateful to her. It is really a property that I recommend for a one-night stop, but also a longer stay to discover the beautiful region of Kirkenes. Thank you for everything Monica we will be happy to come back 😃

The location is very convenient and accessible - it's right in front of a bus stop and a grocery store. Also, it is a quiet area too :)

Thank you Marianne for your hospitality. Cozy cottage, perfect for 4 people. The equipment of the cottage was very convenient, it had everything you needed for a week-long stay. Comfortable beds, a place to hang out in the afternoon, the internet works impeccable. Good location of the cottage, off the beaten path, quiet and just 20 min. walk to the shop, restaurants, bars and other attractions of the town. We didn't have a car, but that didn't bother us. We went to the cross-country trails in a few minutes. Marianne advised us the best way to get from the airport, and told us how the weather was coming. When we had any questions before or during our stay, she always responded within a few minutes. Marianne's place was a very good place to stay for a week. Highly recommend! Thanks, and best regards.

The place was clean and comfortable. Boot dryer was a nice feature. Very good location for ski-touring. Host was helpful and kind.

I loved staying at Henriette’s place! Easy access to the city via bus (which came pretty often + few bus options) and the studio was perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Henriette was also super helpful - she allowed me to leave my bags at her place when I got to Tromso in the morning and even offered to let me borrow winter boots when it was snowing hard. Great host, great stay!

We loved our stay. The accommodation is just as described, with views that exceeded our expectations. The place is perfect for a relaxing, care free holiday. The bed was very comfortable and the block out blind was appreciated given the early sunrise. The bathroom was clean with great shower pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed to make 3 meals a day and a supermarket was in easy walking distance. The living area was ideal to return to after outings and soak up the views from a comfortable couch or lounge chairs. Ørjan was a wonderful host, who helped us with any queries and even tried to help us with a rental car charging issue. I’d recommend this place without hesitation and hope to return in the future.

If you love nature and want to really switch off, the cabin is an absolute insider tip! Due to a small snowshoe hike to the cabin in winter is included and really beautiful. The snowshoes and sledges were all ready for us at the parking lot, and we could easily follow the path of the snowmobile to the cabin. The cabin is very cozy, a central fireplace heats up quickly. We spent cozy evenings by the fireplace and in the candlelight. And then our stay was crowned with the stunning northern lights. All in all a lovely stay and wonderful to leave all the stress behind.

Great & beautiful cabin close to Äkäslompolo, ski trails and Ylläs ski resort.

We had already been here for a week shortly before and decided to spend the rest of our time in Norway (about 2 weeks) here. We haven't felt as comfortable anywhere else as we have here. Ørjan helped us a lot without hesitation when we needed help. In addition, the Ragnarok hut was again incredibly lovingly prepared. The cottage is more beautiful than the pictures reveal and you immediately feel at home and welcome. You also notice that a lot of love and time has been invested here to create a cozy ambiance. The area consists of forest, a panoramic view of mountains and the lake and far away a few small lights of the village. You can put on your shoes and just go hiking, or leave your shoes, put your feet up and enjoy the view with a glass of mead or wine. In any case, you can't avoid having a wonderful time here😊. We will come back as soon as possible and take very nice memories with us.

Finn's cottage is an absolute gem, we felt like home and we were sad to leave. The trip started by this message for our check-in "I'm out guiding all day but I left the keys in the lock" where in this world you leave your place open? All we found was peace, wildlife, landscapes out of this world and a very cosy home. We didn't have the need to light the fire, which btw he had left some wood in case we wanted to. Underfloor heating in the whole place, comfy bed, lovely shower and a very well equipped kitchen including some amenities that made our lives easier. We are so thankful for all the local tips! Thank you Finn for hosting us!

A gem! Marius built with his hands a nest that was both clean and cozy. 30 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes from Tromsø, convenient for a stay in nature, away from the light pollution to catch the northern lights. A haven of peace finally quite easy to access by public transport, anticipating a little of the activities. Marius is very kind, responsive and helpful. It feels like he's put all his heart into his cottage! Special mention to the magical Northern Lights shows from the hot tub! Enchanter!!

The cottage was really great for our family of four – a spacious and atmospheric log house in a quiet area. The kids enjoyed being able to play in their own kingdom from time to time. We skied a lot, so it was especially convenient to get to the ski trails right from the cottage. We spent the evenings by the fire and sauna – the best relaxation! Marko responded to us immediately and was very accommodating. It was nice to greet his family & dogs face to face as well. We will definitely be back, Saariselkä enchanted!
