Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Northern Norway

Very cute little house in a quiet area. Very clean and very pleasant. Good communication with the hotel via messages and useful instructions. Toys were made available for our little boy! Thank you for this attention! It felt like home!

Saara was so wonderful as a host and the home was remarkable. We enjoyed our stay so much. Our family (2 adults and two kids, ages 9 and 12) found the home spacious, comfortable, beautiful...and outside there was an amazing hot tub and outdoor sauna, which we really enjoyed using. Saara met us when we checked in and showed us around and she was so nice and helpful. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this home and we'd love to stay again sometime :)

This is the luckiest cottage where we see the Aurora and there is a famous walking trail close to the house.We walk along the small road for about 300 meters, which is great for viewing the aurora.The room is clean and tidy, fully equipped with facilities, and the sea view is beautiful.

This house was just wonderful. Very spacious, best equipped kitchen, perfect for long-term stays. It is very private with beautiful views of the lake and forest. The fireplace was so cosy, in the living room there are lots of books, puzzles and games to choose from. We also enjoyed the barrel sauna. Björn is very friendly and helped us with recommendations for the area. Thank you very much.

Nina's home is wonderful. Great location for Tromso and surrounding area. Good size for 4 of us staying as a family. Spotlessly clean and everything you'd expect and more. A local guide left for us along with a small welcome treat. Communication with Nina was fast and clear. Check in was smooth with a coded lockbox. Cannot recommend Nina's house enough for a calm and cosy getaway to the beautiful area of Tromso. Upon arrival, the house was lovely and warm which was very welcomed as it was -2 degrees outside. Views across water over to Tromso island was stunning with mountains in the background. Local supermarket only a few mins walk away with easy bus connections. We drove a hire car and could park right outside. This place was a great find and if we come back to Tromso, we'd happily stay here again.

The house was spotless and warm with clear instructions. Everything had been thought of and we felt very much at home. It was so close to town and the grandchildren spent so much time sledging in the area which has some great places for sledging. Kristian was very helpful and I can see why he is a super host

What a stunning location! The house felt really homely and was well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed the use of the hot tub and a bonus to see the Northern lights on several occasions. Sauna was also appreciated. Lovely of Sami's parents to greet us and show us around. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice place with good view.

In five years and 15+ Airbnbs, I have never had such a perfect experience. The house itself is very cozy and surrounded by beautiful mountains, and the northern lights visited us right in the backyard. The sauna is so perfect, but the real highlight was the hosts. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and went out of their way to give us a wonderful living experience. We invited them to join us for dinner in the BBQ hut one night, and it was incredibly fascinating to learn all about them and the wonderful lives they have lived. We do not have a single complaint about our experience, and we definitely got more than what we paid for. I would give 5 more stars if I could. Do not miss this opportunity!

Roger's home is fabulous! The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is a very easy walk to the grocery store and a nice stroll to downtown. Our group of 3 couples spent our downtime around the large kitchen table enjoying the sea views and watching boats and ships cruise by. We appreciated Roger's recommendations for restaurants. We had dinner at Skarven Kro. It was wonderful. Despite the chilly weater we used both the jacuzzi and sauna.

Great host, great place. The Airbnb is beautiful with great views of the lake and mountain. Host is great and fast with communication and goes the extra way to make you feel at home.

We had a wonderful time at Monica‘s lovely and cosy apartment in Hesseng. It was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Peaceful and good place to stay for a night after a long trip. Nice area. Had everything what's needed for a night.

Apartment as described. Well located in a quiet, residential area

Upon arrival, we had to find which cottage we had rented exactly, tip: take a photo of the map at the parking spot. On this you can see exactly the route and a part of the area in which the cottage is located. The cottage itself is super! Very well equipped, lovely sauna, and the water from the hole in the ice, the outdoor toilet and grill space outside make it a very nice destination. The area is also beautiful. The expansiveness of the snow landscape you can just walk through make this a super location. The sled walk is also a fun experience on its own, especially when you can quickly make a fire on arrival with -15 to get warm after the walk while sitting still. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

We felt very comfortable in Pers Hütte. Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. The canoes and electric boat are also perfect for exploring the lake or shopping. Cozily furnished house with everything your heart desires!

Christel makes you feel right at home. A very warm welcome, a house that invites you to cocoon. There are also opportunities to do several activities, especially in summer (we were there in winter) and places to discover in winter nearby.

Finn's cottage is an absolute gem, we felt like home and we were sad to leave. The trip started by this message for our check-in "I'm out guiding all day but I left the keys in the lock" where in this world you leave your place open? All we found was peace, wildlife, landscapes out of this world and a very cosy home. We didn't have the need to light the fire, which btw he had left some wood in case we wanted to. Underfloor heating in the whole place, comfy bed, lovely shower and a very well equipped kitchen including some amenities that made our lives easier. We are so thankful for all the local tips! Thank you Finn for hosting us!

Absolutely loved staying at Tom’s beautiful and private cabin with stunning view of the ocean and mountains. Tom was very helpful and responsive to our request and guiding us through snowy terrain. Wish I could stay longer but maybe next time :)
