Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

You can't beat this location ! Our stay was absolutely amazing from the moment we booked. The host was incredibly accommodating and friendly for us since we arrived, which we really appreciated. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and cozy. The thoughtful touch we loved was Emma’s charm —she really made us feel at home. I highly recommend staying here. Lovely home for our large family get together. When asked questions Elisha was very quick to respond and even recommended some lovely restaurants. We loved Penarth it’s such a lovely place to stay. We could stroll for about 20 minutes to the pier and various restaurants from the house. Also easy access into the city by train.

Robert and Gali were amazing hosts as they are so warm, thoughtful, and kind and it made my colleague and I feel like we were back home. The communication is also unbelievable as they were always in touch and very responsive if there were any questions. The location is absolutely perfect as there are many places within walking distance and you have a lovely view right outside. The home is also full of all the amenities you could desire and is very clean. I would highly recommend this place for a short or long-term stay. Absolutely amazing place and incredible hosts!

Seriously, the underfloor heating in the bathroom is a joy! This was my first visit to Cardiff and as a writer and tourist I can absolutely say my inspirations were tweaked! The hospitality of Gemma and Shaun was friendly, accomodating and respectful! Perfick!

The photos don’t do the lovely place justice. I was worried it wasn’t going be big enough for us, due to the fact I was using it as place to have us together to get ready for the morning of my wedding. The cottage was spacious, beautiful, cosy and was perfect for us all! There was ample of parking which was perfect. I would highly recommend and would stay again if another occasion. Both Angela and her daughter were great at responding to anything we required. They also accepting of any mess we left due to leaving late - bride always arrives fashionably late!
