Monthly Rentals in North Chideock

Alan and I had a fantastic stay this week at the Annexe. Carol and Derek were so friendly and helpful and were so welcoming; they couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. We felt at home straight away in a perfect space for us and our 2 small dogs. We had a relaxing and peaceful few days which was just what we needed and even had a magical experience where the cows and sheep in the field came right up to the fence to say hello one evening which made the perfect photos for our memories. We totally recommend this location if you are looking for a peaceful break. The annexe was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for the perfect stay with lots of extra items which really did make the difference such as: dog blankets, towels, bowls and treats. Bathroom towels, cleaning products and loo roll. Tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk and of course those yummy fresh eggs. Carol and Derek thank you so much for an amazing stay- we will definitely be back. 😊

Where to begin? A small piece of paradise I think comes close! Eddie and Becks were super hosts, warm, welcoming and full of great advice and recommendations. The farm is in an idyllic location, yet only a couple of miles from the sea. Peaceful, quiet and the best place to unwind and explore. The cricket pavilion is a charming , rustic and well equipped bolthole for a couple or small family to enjoy. Dennis the Cockerpoo had the time of his life exploring and playing with his toys in the garden. The local pubs are great and the local beaches are excellent. We had a special dinner in the Ilchester Arms in neighbouring Symondsbury and hours of countryside walks in the hills surrounding. The local farm shop is an absolute gem of a place. The best of Dorset is a short drive in the car away. There is so much more I could add and we are definitely looking to return there for more Dorset heaven. The Studio was exactly as described and perfect for 2 people to stay in comfort and privacy. The hosts were lovely and friendly with helpful ideas for things to do and how to get the most out of the area. The property itself was spotlessly clean, with lovely flowers, cake, eggs and milk on arrival. The bed was super comfy and the whole place felt like time and care had been taken creating a wonderful experience for their guests. WiFi was good and The Studio felt like home. The pool table and table tennis in the games room were a great added extra and there is also an extensive library of books and DVD’s should you wish to make use of them. I would have no hesitation recommending this to anyone looking for a comfortable and cosy base to explore all that The Jurassic Coast had to offer. We will definitely be back when the opportunity arises. Super hosts who alllowed us to check out late as they had a gap in their booking schedule which was really appreciated.

Absolutely lovely stay. Breathtaking view right on the doorstep and beautifully peaceful. Lots of lovely places to walk and lovely to relax. We’ll be back.
