Ina’s place was heaven! Everything about the room screams indulgence :) the linens, the little knick knacks, the bathroom- everything was five stars! I would gladly go back and book again in a heartbeat. We rented a car while we were in Queenstown so getting around was not an issue! Thanks Ina for hosting us. We loved reading your family’s story written in your manual! See you again soonest, I hope :) xx

If you ever get the chance, seize it with both hands and stay at Simon’s place! The location is exceptional, every detail is thought out, its stylish with beautiful art, lovely furnishings and at the same time is completely comfortable. Simon is very welcoming, space abounds and poochies are welcome (with prior arrangements). Truly, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough and will be back there very soon! Thanks Simon, M

Andrea’s lodge was just perfect. We had everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, a warm fireplace, nice and tidy room. We felt like home. She gave us some recommendations for the area. There is also a pick for the shuttle bus to the start of the Tongario crossing right in front of the street. Easy to book and close to the start and end. Self laundry with coins available at the reception (if you have none) We can highly recommend this place!!

Gorgeous accommodation with a stunning outlook! Nuala was quick to respond and even came out to say Hi when she saw us. Loved the extra little touch on the chalk board outside :D The Villa itself was very clean, tidy and felt private, bonus is that it's close to the beach where we got to watch an amazing sunset on our first night, and there's a lovely coastal walk just down the drive all the way into town. 100% recommend and we'd definitely love to stay again!

Love the parking, right next to unit. Thanks for outdoors chairs. Water temp was very hard to regulate. Kitchen well equipped.

Waiorau Homestead was absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations. Our hostess Ann was extremely attentive and made sure we had every thing on hand to ensure a relaxing and peaceful stay. The most comfortable bed and luxurious down comforters and pillows were 5 star quality. Our room was thoughtfully decorated and felt like we were in a Parisian Hotel. A lovely buffet breakfast greeted us each morning which comprised of seasonal fruits, cereals , eggs on toast and croissants followed by freshly brewed coffee. Thank you so much for having us & making our stay perfect.

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at this property. I wish we were there for more than one night! The hosts were so friendly and we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and comfort of our cottage. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt right at home. The views, especially from the shared pool and spa area are unbeatable. We also loved feeding the sheep who live on the property! I highly recommend booking as it was one of the highlights of our 3-weeks in New Zealand.

Very nice place, friendly hosts and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable and my children enjoyed the space. I liked that they had SKY and the good channels too ☺️ restaurants and supermarket within walking distance! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! Thank you!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Well appointed, clean and comfortable. Good sized room and comfortable bed. The shower pressure was amazing! The one negative were the front line staff who were lacking in friendliness and warmth.

Wonderful guesthouse adjoining the hosts’ main residence. Private and quiet, with a spectacular view down into the bay – photos just don’t do it justice! We opted for the delicious continental breakfast. Kitchen facilities are basic (no cooking) but were adequate for our needs. Hosts Sharon and Andrew were lovely and on hand if we needed anything. Overall a lovely stay.

This is an outstandingly beautiful place to stay. The views are amazing, the pool and the hot tube are clean and inviting, and it is incredibly peaceful. It is a wonderful place to have a barbeque on the deck and eat. The room had some nice touches, like some filter coffee, some museli as well as the usual tea and coffee sachets. The beds are amazingly comfortable, and everything is spotlessly clean. Lori is a lovely person who is very kind, and made sure that we always had what we needed. It is hard to imagine a better place than Lori's, and I totally recommend it to everyone.

Stayed with Jeanette for one night and it was delightful. Herself and her husband were a pleasure to talk to. The place was spotless, private and gorgeous and they made me feel right at home.

The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The check in was easy and the location was great just a short walk from the main areas of Akaroa. We would recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We received a warm welcome and kind hospitality throughout our stay from Carolynn and Al who generously shared their home. The place is well set up and split into areas, and even though there were other house guests there was space for all, including our curious and active 1.5 year old. Would recommend and look forward to returning.

Haka House is a typical hostel, very conveniently located a short walk from the town centre. It had everything we needed pre and post walking the Milford Track. Reception staff were friendly and our double bunk room was fine for our needs. Recommended for budget travellers.

Very cute house and the location is really great if you want somewhere that is close to the airport
