This was my 5th stay at this lovely property, and it continues to exceed expectations! The space, while small, is thoughtfully designed with all the comforts and amenities needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Spud has been an absolutely fantastic host—attentive, welcoming, and always ensuring everything is perfect. The attention to detail and care put into the property truly make it a standout. I highly recommend this cozy gem and look forward to returning for another stay!

A wonderful stay that’s just outside of Queenstown Central. The amenities are great and the best part was the heated toilet seat for the cold mornings. Would recommend to anyone coming to Queenstown

Extremely convenient location right next to the airport. We stayed as we were hiring a car the next morning. Shops and restaurants within a 10 minutw walk. Comfiest bed we've slept in for a good while!

My stay at fernandos was excatly as he described. VERY quiet which helped me get the study done I needed to. The house was always well presented and clean. Recommend as a great place to stay. Thank you Fernando and family.

Our 2 families had a wonderful stay. The house is brand new, with modern decor, very spacious and well equipped as an air BnB. We loved playing cornhole on the deck, there were several places for people to relax. With 7 of us and 3 vehicles this was perfect - 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a huge kitchen, plenty of parking, the singles are actually king singles, a garden shed to lock bikes and boards, literally right next door to Oliver’s bakery- just amazing. Terry’s communication was stand out. Totally recommend!

If you’re adventurous and enjoy unique places, then like us, you’ll love this place!Thankfully for us the weather cleared the afternoon we arrived and we had fantastic views of the mountains and surrounding areas. Some persistent stoking of the hot tub paid off and a good relaxing soak in steaming hot water as the clouds rolled in and rain started in the late evening was beautiful!

Tim was a great host, very communicative and greeted us upon our arrival to Mt Lyford to show us the lay of the land.  Mt Lyford is an idyllic location to really escape, simplistic 'mountain style living', surrounded by walks (for all levels) with panoramic views from Kaikoura to Hanmer Springs. There are also mountain bike tracks and a small lake to cool off on a summer's day. We stayed in the Mt Stella Hut with loft style sleeping arrangements. We were fortunate to have the grounds completely to ourselves, however there is a shared kitchen, living room and bathroom area for all cabins within the Hut/chalet. Highly recommend to all! From singles, groups and families, long stays or short. You won't be disappointed with this beautiful piece of country. *Would highly recommend taking Tim's offer for a shuttle, unless you own four wheel drive and are comfortable driving mountain roads. ** There is reception on Mt Lyford, depending on your server you my need to do a lap on the grounds to find it. Wi-fi is great!

Wow what a fantastic experience! We were lucky enough to experience mt lyford by ourselves and enjoyed the peace and sunset whilst enjoying the outdoor hot tub. In the morning we walked Labrador peak which was great short walk to get fantastic views. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure!

Lovely place with a great view! Always willing to help and really appreciated the help getting our clothes off the clothes line when it was a windy evening! Very nice people:)

I would highly recommend staying at Chas’s beautiful place if you are looking for somewhere beautiful & relaxing to get away from the rat race. The spectacular views were amazing
