Dome vacation rentals in New Zealand

Dana was a fabulous host, most accommodating, made sure we had everything we need. The dome was beautifully designed; we brought our kids and they loved it, especially the hammock. Enjoyed watching the sky full of stars with them. Twas a wonderful glamping experience.

My mum and I stayed in Julie ad Daves Dome and we are blown away by the beauty of the whole place. It looks over a lovely meadow that looks like it came straight out of the hobbit. The dome itself has unique touches of cloud paintings, which adds a quaint charm to the otherwise lovely aesthetic. I appreciate all of the additional amenities that they offer onsite. Including, but not limited to, outdoor dining, microwaves, BBQ, fire pit and hot tub. I also appreciate the marshmallows left for us to enjoy some adorable s'mores on said fire pit. They are both lovely individuals and went out of their way to not only make us feel at home, but they also shared their delicious fruits/veggies and helped us with any other things we asked for. I highly recommend this place for anyone who'd love the luxury of dome life, with the charm of the country.

My husband and I spent a few days here over New Years and had a wonderful experience! Not only is this property family-owned and managed, which makes the property feel extra cozy, but it’s also in a beautiful location that really isn’t difficult to reach from Queenstown. We were a bit nervous to not have WiFi or cell reception, but ultimately really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the space. And cell reception isn’t far away, only about 10 minutes driving away from the property towards town. We used the grilling area and the kitchenette which worked perfectly. We enjoyed the incredible views of the mountains and the sheep that would come by in herds throughout the day. It is like camping, so believe the description when told to pack for chilly nights and hot days (in the summer). Also the hot water is sparse, but that’s part of the fun in camping! We also had no issues with the power. My husband uses a CPAP machine to sleep at night and it worked seamlessly.

My partner and I had a wonderful couple of days at the geodome. We loved the sense of space, styling and location. Everything we needed was included. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you Sue for creating such a great home away from home - but so much better!

Such a beautiful location - highly recommend for a peaceful getaway! We stayed for 3 nights and the dome had everything we needed.
