Beautiful place, gracious host, comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying there and I hope to stay again myself sometime.

We moved our stay at Hunters Ridge and look forward to returning. The property was beautiful. Cathy was absolutely amazing! We had so much fun! Highly recommend! Note: you get two beach towels and two bath towels. I would recommend bringing some as we needed more. Also my husband is 6’5” so the full bed was a challenge but we managed.

Very gracious hosts. Cathy was great with last minute booking. Nice location, with nice warm hot tub with review view. Thumbs up!

If we could leave more STARS we would. Magical stay. Host made everyone feel at home and connected. We met everyone that was staying and had our privacy at the same time. Anytime we needed something it was hand delivered in moments. Thank you so much Cathy & Parker for opening this Ohio treasure up to the world. We cannot wait to return with our friends and family.

Great simple place for our group. Boat ramps were close. Plenty of parking. No troubles and comfortable.

Alan, was a great host. Home was great and kitchen had all I needed to cook my favorite dishes. Lake view was fabulous, too. Alan and his mom treated us like family. I would recommend staying here anytime. I was enjoying stay so much that I extended my stay 2 days longer and Alan kindly helped us in the process.

We have wanted to visit Pelee Island for a very long time and so for my husband birthday we decided to come! All we were interested in doing was just to chill. The home was so perfect for our stay, Shelley was amazingly accommodating and we highly recommend The Cottage House. We look forward to another time here!

No complaints for the price. Very quiet. Easy access would be easier to find in the daylight but instructions are clear so not too difficult even at night. Will stay again if in the area.

Snuck away to this hidden gem to celebrate my husband's birthday. Hosts went above and beyond in welcoming us and offering thoughtful accommodations to make our stay even more enjoyable. All of the retro decor details and scenic location have charmed us into daydreaming about our next booking with these lovely hosts.

Our second year staying here for a family retreat. It is difficult to find an Airbnb that sleeps 8, but also has room for 8 at the kitchen table and on the sofa, and we are appreciative that this property does. Well stocked and comfortable.

We had a great time at Sharon's rental. The location was private and far enough from the "busy" area.

Our stay was wonderful! I stayed at the cabin for the weekend with friends. We were competing in a horse show in the area and were gone most of the day but I wish we had more time to spend at the campground. The area was beautiful and peaceful by a lake. I would have loved to just spend the entire weekend there and hope to go back with family in the future. There was a lot to do with great amenities. You could go out on the lake with paddle boats or go hiking. The cabin that we stayed in was a good size for four people. We had a great time and would recommend.

This trip was hindered by some power outages but they went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. Couldn’t ask for more.

The experience at Mully and Deb’s cabin exceeded my expectations for a personal retreat. Being right on the walking path is such a treasure - with so many hiking paths just steps away outside. I was amazed out how incredibly quiet the location was. I could be out in those woods and hear no human activity. Fantastic! The cabin is extremely cozy with two reclining chairs that look out over the forest. This is where I found myself for hours reading and journaling. The wood fired stove is more than enough to keep you warm - even in this cooler time. And of course breakfast was a sure highlight - prepared with a lot of thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a retreat - look no further than this cabin on the path.

Amazing little lake house, just perfect for our needs. While it was a bit chilly in the evening so wasn't able to take full advantage of the amazing deck or the lake itself, the views alone were something that made all the friends back home jealous.

Love this spot, this was my second time staying here! I was in town to attend a show at Fox Theatre and walked there & back, just a little over a mile away... This space is very basic & that might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it worked perfectly for me & I will definitely be checking the availability on this place the next time I plan on heading to Detroit!
