Monthly Rentals in Monaragala

I spent 3 nights at the White Square Homestay and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean place in a beautiful house not far away from town (accessible by bus). The family is extremely friendly and they will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. They cook the best food that I have tried in my 7 months in Sri Lanka ! On top of the delicious food, I really enjoyed the balcony from which you can see peacocks, mangoose and grizzled giant squirrels ! I will definitely stay with Chandana's family again :)

The journey to the accommodation was really adventurous. But every meter is worth it to get to this fantastic place. At night you have the background noise of the jungle and fireflies around you. I've rarely seen anything so beautiful. In addition, the place is super nice and the whole team is absolutely eager and helpful

We had the best time there! The host and his wife were incredibly sweet! Helpful and accommodating !! Breakfast was incredibly delicious and an incredible amount ! We were very happy there! And to all those who complain about the “climb” to the cottage - logically, a jungle house is not next to the road but further up! The host carried all our bags up and you walk up a small path for a maximum of 5 minutes. Were incredibly satisfied and would come back again and again!

Renuka and her family were wonderful! They were very kind and did a great job of welcoming us into their home! They have a beautiful garden, and Renuka makes amazing coffee which she grows herself! We also had breakfast here for a small fee, and it was super tasty! We really loved our stay in Ella, the homestay was in such an ideal location. The space was clean and tidy, if only a little damp but I think that’s more to do with being in the mountains! I would definitely recommend staying here!
