Registered number:- HG-00020047. The cabin is 15 m2 and is a hidden nugget in our garden overlooking the fjord opposite Akureyri. The cabin was completed in April 2020. There is a kitchenette with a kettle, microwave and fridge. The WC is separate inside with a hand basin. The cabin is private and there is a half wrap around deck to enjoy the evening views and midnight skies. There is an outside shower with hot water for a natural experience.

The cottage is located on our farmland and we live in the farmhouse about 800m away up the hill. We do not farm livestock but there might be the occasional sheep grazing the fields. Guests are welcome to pick mushroom on the land and august is prime blueberry season and you can pick blueberries right outside the cottage.

I love this place! This is the second time I have stayed here in Dobeck. It is peaceful, clean, and the view is gorgeous everywhere you look. There is everything you need in the town, and it is very close to Akureyri. There are also a great hiking trails—some trailheads are right in town. I hope to be back a third time next year!

I spent one night. Quiet, comfortable, good communication with owner.

Gem of a place to stay. The room was clean and cute with a nice window to see out. Check in and the instructions to get inside were very simple and easy. The bed was very comfortable and I really liked having the big window to see out and get some fresh air. The location is great it’s quiet, but you are walking distance to all of the coffee shops and the water. I wish I had longer to stay!

The host offered us a free upgrade on the morning of check-in, from the room described to a private cabin, very large and clean. With great views, parking, and a private kitchen and bathroom.
