We enjoyed another great weekend at Charlotte’s Cottage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our say at Dena's place. It was a one night stopover, on our way cross country, so we didn't get to enjoy any of the local food or entertainment that Dena recommended. The view from the house was amazing; we got to enjoy sunset and sunrise on the bay from the enclosed sunporch. The sound of the water lapping against the shore was wonderful when we waked outside this morning. Very peaceful, private, ample room. Just perfect.

Wonderful bayside home with a great view of Mobile Bay! The home was comfortable and was in a great location between Dauphin Island and Mobile. Enjoyed the back porch and watching the sunrise. Cameron was a great host and was quick to respond to things that came up. Fully enjoyed our stay!

We travelled with another couple to Mobile for college baseball. We decided we would rather get an AirBnB on the Gulf than a hotel intown bc of Mardi Gras. We are so glad we did!!! Coden is just over 30 minutes to University of South Alabama. Van's place is great - they have thought of everything. When they say the kitchen is stocked - we are talking two kinds of coffee makers, a blender, a waffle maker, even a juicer! We didn't cook but you certainly could! Bathrooms have all the toiletries. Beds are great, linens smell incredible. The dock is awesome. We threw out a few lines (caught a few rays and catfish at night - nothing else biting this time - it was pretty chilly) and checked the three crab pots (which were baited when we got there!) and in general just enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of seating and great lighting...and you won't believe how quiet it is on the water. We have rented many water properties but have never experienced that before! Thanks Van for an awesome stay!
