Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mid-Coast, Maine

House was beautiful and really nicely decorated- felt right at home! It was great for our family trip - very well equipped kitchen, clean bedsheets, homey vibe. The area is super cute and beautiful but also close to the supermarket if you need to grab anything. Jacuzzi was a plus after a long day on the slopes or hiking. Nadine communicated very well. She even put heated pads on the stairs the night before we arrived, which was very helpful as it was very slippery. Would love to come back one day!

I would absolutely stay here again! The check-in process was smooth, and Michael was incredibly flexible and responsive to any questions we had. The directions to the property were clear and easy to follow. Although we didn't cook while we were there, the place had everthing you would need to host. The house comfortably accommodated all six of us for the night, and since the weather was beautiful, we spent much of our time enjoying the stunning backyard. The entire setup was absolutely perfect—couldn't have asked for a better stay!

This place is a gem! Anthony was a wonderful, friendly host. The property was clean, modern, and spacious. Remote enough to feel like you've escaped, but close enough to necessary amenities (like groceries), and just under and hour drive to Acadia National Park! Wouldn't hesitate to consider rebooking for a trip in the future!

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful property! We had a group stay for spring skiing. The house was more than spacious enough for us all. Was an easy ride to Sugarloaf. We had a fire outside and enjoyed the hot tub. A couple of friends actually took a plunge in the freezing cold river. Who could resist with it right in the backyard! Will absolutely be back again! Great host and house

My girlfriend and I came to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was everything we hoped for and more, the kitchen had everything we could dream of, the beds were comfortable, the surroundings were immaculate, not to mention the hot tub and easy access to the beach. Our host was responsive and willing to help with whatever we asked. All in all, it’s a beautiful location where Arian provided everything we could ask for to make the most of it. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Great cabin! Remote and beautiful. Hot tub was lovely. James was communicative and his folks took care of snow plowing right away after a storm. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

Delightful place to stay in Portlands West end. It is easy walking distance to everywhere…. downtown and even the East side. Great restaurants in the neighborhood from breakfast to dinner. The apartment was immaculate and was stocked with just about everything you’d need. The shared yard was charming and felt very private. We have family in the area and I hope we can stay there again and again. It was much more comfortable than a B & B. Lorie was very responsive to anything you might need.

Great apartment in a very walkable part of Portland, a perfect location for exploring the city. It was clean & spacious with a very comfortable bed and we appreciated the off-street parking. The owner Jeff and his wife are very friendly and served us a fantastic meal at their small brewpub downstairs. I normally wouldn’t choose a rental above a pub, but theirs closes at 9pm every night, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would highly recommended this unit for a stay in Portland.

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! Thank you to our wonderful hosts, we hope to visit again!!

My two brothers were in town for a memorial service, so I booked Heidi's place for 3 nights. They enjoyed the proximity to my house, the coffee shop nearby and, in spite of constant rain, the walks in the neighborhood. Heidi was very open to questions, but honestly everything worked as advertised, so there was nothing to ask! I will definitely recommend this little apartment for short or long stays. Munjoy Hill is a special place.

I had an amazing stay! Rachael was a very responsive host, and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location was quiet but within driving distance of all the things I wanted to do, and it matched all my expectations based on the listing. If I’m ever back in the area, I would certainly love to stay here again!

Lori’s place felt like a home away from home. The apartment was bigger than we expected with beautiful furnishings and built-ins. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked making it easy to cook meals with ingredients from Pat’s Meat Market a block away. Noble Pizza is also not to be missed.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We had a regular wear and tear issue with one of the appliances but the issue was resolved quickly and the hosts went above and beyond to make the inconvenience right. Overall the stay was relaxing and well worth it. I would definitely return to this cabin.

The cabin was exactly as described. The cabin had everything we needed for our four night stay while we visited family in the area, very quaint and quiet. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and their dogs. They gave us the heads up of possibly adding more cabins which interested us. We have a large family and would love to return to the Knotty Pine Trailside Cabin complex and rent out a few for the whole family. Great place to stay.

What a wonderful cabin on the river! The property is private and welcoming and the small beach on the river was perfect for lounging and reflecting. I described our stay to my wife as "a Spring cleaning of the Soul." The place was spotless and even the woodstove glass was cleaned! We loved this location and will keep it in our favorites for the future.

We loved staying at the cabin! It was 2 adults and one infant, and we had plenty of space to setup a pack n play for the baby to sleep. It was very clean, even for such an old cabin. The heat worked good since it was still cold in April. Lisa came over to introduce herself and asked if we needed anything, super friendly. It’s perfect for a short stay with a small family/couple. Just remember to bring your own towels :) The front porch with the rocking chairs is awesome as well. We will stay here again the next time we are in the Skowhegan area!

My wife and I came here after our wedding on a 'mini-moon' just to get away and reflect on our wedding. We've been here once before, and this trip was just as good as the last, even though the weather wouldn't cooperate most of the weekend. The hosts were again very proactive and responsive - we had one very minor issue (that I wouldn't have even mentioned) and the host proactively reached out to apologize for the minor inconvenience. They also left us a little somethng to commemorate our wedding and make us feel special. We again couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a memorable, unplugged escape.

My wife and I had an amazing time! We were looking to relax for a few days and this was the place! The peaceful environment and welcoming house made it very easy to unwind and escape from our busy lives. Lisa was also very responsive whenever we had any questions!

We just loved this Airbnb and the wonderful location on the stream. You could fall asleep to the roaring stream, sip coffee and other beverages on the deck overlooking the stream. The cabin has a Maine woods decor- which we loved. Shawn was very responsive and had great recommendations. We plan to come back at some point

Our stay at Paul’s was exactly what we were looking for. A small quaint place for the two of us and our pups during a ski trip to Saddleback. The pups loved going out and running on the frozen lake for some exercise.
