We stayed in Salvatore's apartment for a week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Salvatore was extremely kind, accommodating, and provided clear explanations. The apartment exceeded our expectations compared to the photos, and the neighborhood is peaceful and secure. It is impeccably organized and fully stocked with essential facilities. The apartment is spacious and luminous, including a practical storage room and a charming garden. We look forward to returning to Salvatore's residence in the future.

Rosario is the best host I've ever had. He is kind, caring, helpful, thoughtful and even offered to pick me up at the airport since I arrived in the evening. He regularly checked up on me by text during my stay and was very reactive to my queries. He also sent me loads of recommendations of places in Palermo. The flat was clean and nice. I 100% recommend. Thank you for everything Rosario, I hope to come back.

Wisteria House - with direct access to the beach

JoyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Villa dei Glicini is a magical place. We were too late in the year to see the wisteria in flower but the courtyard was decked in hibiscus, oleander and bougainvillea. Lying in bed at night we could hear the sound of the waves. Dario, who lives next door, was the perfect host, ready to answer any question or sort out any little problem. My friend wrote this poem to him: Sunshine in Salinelle Rays filter through the pines Around the corner Here he comes Visage wreathed in smiles Buongiorno Mi chiamo Dario Your new Sicilian friend Welcome to Glicine When the laughter Never ends Not far from Norman Cefalu Hard upon a handsome beach Walking through the lemon trees My heart ascends from speech. Gently birds are singing The waves reverberate and sound Oh Dario molto gentile Grazie grazie You we've found

Cefalu Caldura House

WendyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The owners of this charming North-facing little flat overlooking the sea are doing everything they can to make it pleasant and comfy. It's tastefully decorated and roomy. We appreciated that Giacinto put on the heating before our arrival in the first week of March to take off the chill. It must be very pleasant in the heat of summer. The heating/air conditioning unit worked very well. The kitchen is well-equipped. Note that it is 25 minute walk away from Cefalu center. The plus side is that it's very peaceful. We enjoyed hiking in the neighbouring mountains. The apartment is accessible by car through a narrow, hard to negotiate access lane (choose sub compact rentals). Allow also for very steep stairs up and down which you will carry suitcases and supplies. We appreciated that we were given several bottles of water because the tap water is brackish. You must observe septic tank “etiquette” (dispose of soiled toilet paper in a bin) and there is a bidet for those who prefer.

Had a great stay here! Umberto was a fabulous host. He was responsive and extremely helpful, with lots of recommendations to help us with our stay. The place was very clean, with great amenities. It’s also a couple of steps away from the beach. Around there are lots of bars and restaurants you are able to walk to. I would also recommend listening to Umberto and taking his recommendations for the neighbouring city of Cefalù.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home during my recent birthday trip to Sicily, and it was a wonderful experience. The space was clean, spacious, and tastefully designed—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed. Claudia was amazing—she met us at check-in and was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Her hospitality really made a difference. LA FINESTRA SUL MARE VACATION HOME

MarcoRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Elina's place is cozy, well decorated and comfortable. It has all you need for your stay. The two bedrooms are comfortable and there is a lovely sunrise seeping in on sunny mornings. The ouside area is too cluttered with plants to make use of and we were hoping to enjoy more of that beautiful view from the house itself. The location in Sant'Ambrogio is ideal, right next to a small supermarket, a café and a restaurant where you can sit to enjoy the aforementioned view. You can walk down a long staircase to the beach from here, which is a gorgeous walk too. We have small kids so we preferred driving to Cefalù (10min) where there are more amenities. Castelbuono is also reachable by car in only 25min. Elina is friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

We had a wonderful time. The apartment is quietly located close to the beach. The garden and the pool are great. The apartment was super clean. But the best part was Umberto our host. Super friendly and he gave us the best recommendations for restaurants and excursions. He even exchanged the broken oven within 4 hours. 10 out of 10 stars. Thanks again for the great service ❤️

Two-room apartment, great area, elevator, wifi, radiators

GaborRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Even though we haven't met Donatella, everything worked out nicely with the help provided by her. It has been my first foray to Sicily, and i was kinda surprised how much i liked it. It is chaos, but never scary, and somehow full of warmth, affections, all glazed with constant noise:) Water pressure is nice, the inner courtyard from the windows are a fascinating insight into the life of the Palermitani. Bus stop very close to take you to the centre or the airport. The whole length of Via Libertá is a gem. And i have to say, and i dont care how peculiar that sounds, but the owner of Pizza Uno around the corner, Carlo, is a local treasure, a hidden gem, a hardworking, kind, open-hearted hero. Witnessing his place in the calmness of saturday midday (i know by now it was before the storm) and the madness of the evening will stay with me forever. And I also cant forget the trip up to Monte Pellegrino either, for wich the bus 812 is not far away to take You up there.
A large photograph of the Teatro Massimo is displayed, capturing its grand façade illuminated at night. The building features classical columns and ornate details, surrounded by palm trees. Soft lighting enhances the architectural elements, creating a striking visual focal point within the space.

Bartolo was a great and generous host. He welcomed us with a nice plate of delicious Sicilian desserts. The flat was also clean, fabulous and well-equipped in a great location. It’s in a really charming local neighbourhood. The host is pretty attentive to his guests as he has always provided us with help and useful recommendations during our stay. If we’re back to Palermo, no doubt we will book this place again!! We’d like to thank Bartolo for the yummy coffee and croissants that he brought us for breakfast when there was a technical issue with the stove! Certainly Bartolo managed to fix the stove problem in a few hours.

La casa Sul Vicolo - HISTORICAL CENTER

The place was great, very central, close to many of the spots you might want to see in Palermo. Because the street was undergoing works (May 2025), there was no noise from outside as people were not circulating as much. The place was just as in the photos.
A serene coastal scene showcases a vibrant blue sea with various windsurfing boards gliding across the water. The clear water reveals parts of the sandy seabed, while boats are seen in the distance, fostering a sense of activity against the backdrop of a sunny sky.

The host gave us detailed instructions on how to enter the room, and we were able to enter the room easily. The view from the window is wonderful, and the wind feels very pleasant. It is close to Roma Street, so it is easy to access when coming by bus from the airport. It was great to be close to the Barralo Market, Palermo Cathedral, and Pretoria Fountain. The procedure for storing luggage after check-in was also easy to understand.
