B&B la Palombara

MichaelRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
If you're even thinking about staying at Giovanna's La Palombara AirBnB, just drop what you're doing and book it! The views are out of a fairy tale with the most beautiful Mediterranean sunsets directly off the balcony (or the amazing boat hot tub), Mt Vesuvius to the NE, and the sea and cliff side town of Vico Equense to the SE. The location is perfect as it's just a 10-15 min walk from the downtown area of Vico Equense and it's delicious pizza and gelato (Go to Gelateria Gabriele and get the gelato sandwich on brioche!), but it's very private along the Mediterranean cliffside. The room itself was very clean, and Giovanna provides some drinks in the refrigerator for a small fee. One of the best parts was waking up to a breakfast provided by Giovanna and her husband: coffee, bruschetta, omelettes made from fresh eggs, croissants, etc. They also provide transportation to and from the town center if necessary and can provide some excellent tour recommendations.10/10 We miss you already!

Excellent apartment, everything was clean, functional and very responsive host. We took the Naples-Pompeii road every day with the train that took less than 10 minutes' walk and we did not regret sleeping in the calm of Pompeii. I would this property.

Sorrento Coast Villa Holiday on Sea

Robert Rating, 5 stars6 days ago
We were in from the US for the wedding of a local cousin just outside of Sorrento. Our family of six was greeted by Claudio who explained the home, its surroundings, and gave some local recommendations. The unit is spacious with three bedrooms upstairs and two full baths) one on each level), plus included parking for two vehicles. There is a full kitchen, however, we didn't make use of it as we were touring or visiting family every day. Yes, there are lots of steps and a tight driveway, but that added to the charm. One of the best things about this unit was the proximity to both the beach area (Marina di Aequa), and to the town of Vico Equense itself, which was the perfect spot for us as it is a more "authentic" Italian town. Definitely more locals than tourists here (which we loved). The views from the home are just incredible with the Marina below, and Ischia in the distance. We would stay here again for many reasons. If considering this area, we think you should stay here too.

Happy home Pompei

VítRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The place was great in every way. Beautifully clean, quiet and safe with a grocery store about 100m away. What is worth mentioning, however, is the host's approach. Mr. Fabio not only responded immediately to all questions, but also proactively helped when needed. Although he could not come in person during our stay for work reasons, he was able to advise us on everything we needed to know and even ordered a taxi to the airport for us, for an even better price, which would have been a big problem due to my ignorance of Italian and the absence of services such as Uber. 5 stars is the maximum, but I would give 100 if I could. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone going to Pompeii!

Casa Patrizia - Charming and central apartment

MarieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cannot fault Antonio’s apartment as a first time visitor to Naples. He charmingly greeted us on arrival & acquainted us with the apartment, neighbourhood & the further Napoli attractions/recommendations he has compiled for his guests. The apartment is spacious & lacks for nothing ensuring a trouble free stay. Turning right at the corner of the Plaza is a Tramvia bus stop so convenient for accessing Pompei, Herculaneum, the Amalfi coast; & from that same stop the local 204 bus runs to the must visit National Museum & onto the Capodimonte Museum & beyond & loops back to the start providing a great perspective of the vertiginous apartment growth up the steep slopes of Naples. Further on from the bus stop is a supermarket with great variety to set you up with provisions for the stay. Then you are set to plunge into the old section of the city; the Spanish Quarter and beyond! My daughter and I spent a wonderful week in Naples at Casa Patrizia. Many thanks Antonio for this opportunity 🙏?

2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms - Garden House

MartinRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. The comprehensive information folder explained where the local services could be found and we soon got to know the local area which always felt safe and friendly. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the Centro Storica and sea front either by taking the steps or by catching the Funicular from the station a couple of minutes along the road. We usually walked down and caught the Funicular back up. Likewise, the Metro at Montesanto is close to the bottom of the steps and or one stop down on the Funicular. The location turned out to be excellent as it was nice to be quiet at the end of the day, away from the busy streets. Claudia was a great host, very friendly, helpful and easy to contact. She also helped organize transport from the Airport, which was a great help as our flight arrived quite late. Thoroughly recommended.

Central location in the heart of Naples. As a family of four we enjoyed our stay in this wonderful city with walking distance to many central spots and also shirt distance to train and metro for longer outings. The apartment was exactly as described, we had zero incidents but appreciated the host's attentiveness and proactiveness.

Villa Salvatorosa

From the moment we arrived Luigi and his family were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. On our first evening we were given 2 enormous freshly baked pizzas. Most welcome after a long day travelling here. As a party of five adults we stayed for two weeks and glad we did. The views from the Terrace were amazing, with spectacular sunsets. From the large deck and pool areas you can quietly relax and enjoy views of the sea or mountains. At meal times the fabulous gas Webber BBQ was greatly appreciated. Inside the rooms, there were some charming, decorative features which added to the ambience of the property. A large open kitchen/lounge area provides a lovely social space. From the property was a fabulous walk with amazing views over the Bay of Naples and Versuvius. The small village nearby is very friendly but as mentioned in other reviews a small car is essential which our hosts also helped us to arranged.

Sorrento Coast apartment in cast

AdamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I am so glad that we decided to stay in Vico Equense and that we chose to stay at Maria's airbnb. Vico Equense is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday with plenty to do close by and a very short amount of travelling required by car or train to access the larger tourist destinations. The airbnb itself is really impressive - the castle is stunning and the apartment itself has everything you need. The shared communal spaces outside couldn't really be better, we visited in May so didn't have access to the beach (but there are plenty of options nearby) but the pool was great and not too cold to swim in, and the terraces were great for relaxing and sun lounging. Honestly it is hard to find a fault with the airbnb or Vico Equense itself, it was a great holiday destination and we will definitely come back.

A perfect place to stay to explore Pompeii, Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Adriana was the most welcoming, friendly and nicest hosts we have ever met! It honestly felt like nothing was too much for her! Even before we arrived she helped us with tips on the local train times, places to visit, where to park for attractions etc. Adriana kindly gave us a lift to the local station (Pioppaino) so we could enjoy a day out in Sorrento. The air b and b is immaculate, so well equipped with everything you need. The outside space and pool are also amazing, the perfect place to relax in the day and evening. The location is great as it’s close to the Pompeii site, and also easy to explore the surrounding areas such as Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in this area! Thank you so much for an amazing stay, we hope to be back!😊

Maria communicated with us before we arrived and met us at the gate of the Castle. She reviewed the instructions for entering and walked us around the property, and even sat with us and showed us restaurants, travel agent, and points of interest. We felt very comfortable and safe in the Castle and around Vico Equense. We would definitely consider this property again if we find our travels in this area. Thank you for a lovely visit!

Donatella was a wonderful host. She made our large family group feel right at home. The property is beautiful, the grounds, the pool, the views of Mt. Vesuvius and Bay of Naples, the little village of Seiano/Vico Equense were all amazing. Short train ride to Sorrento with many options for dining, shopping and ferries to Amalfi coast and Capri. Memories for a lifetime.

Panoramic Flat with Terrace Sorrento Coast

LPRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mary’s apartment is located in a beautiful castle initially built around 13th century. It has a huge terrace with a view of the sea, Naples and the famous Vesuvius. We visited off season in May, so we had to drive to the beach about 5 min, but during the summer time the castle has an elevator to the beach. The pictures don’t do justice. Mary is a great host, very attentive, always prepared with good advice. All stars ⭐️ !!!
