This was the best place we have ever stayed as a family. Sigurdurs place is beautiful with the most stunning view. The house is spacious and very warm and cosy. It is absolute heaven, the perfect escape to the countryside with a chance of seeing the northern lights over the lake. I would definitely recommend Sigurdur’s place to everyone. We had a wonderful time at Himri! The place was huge and everyone had lots of fun with the gym and game room. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful and it was a joy to wake up every morning and see that. The location was great close to the Golden circle and Reykjavík. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We felt so lucky to be there!
