Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in McCloud

Very pleased with our stay. Well equipped kitchen that included coffee, tea, cooking oil and some dry food. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice shower water pressure and temperature. Comfortable couch. Nice patio with grill including a full tank gas. We will definitely come back.

From check-in to check-out this place was great! Upon arrival we had clear instructions on how to get in and the house was really clean. We felt very welcomed and at home. After long days of hiking we really liked coming back to the house to relax. The house had everything we needed and everyone slept comfortably throughout the night. If we had questions the host would respond promptly. We would definitely book this place again!

Have stayed with Christy several times in Dunsmuir and her places never disappoint. i had yet another terrific, restful, retreat. The adjustable, heated blanket on the bed was a bonus this time since it got chilly a couple nights and I just turned that on instead of going out and turning on the heater in the middle of the night. The house was perfect for us and we will try to return on our next visit. Everything was as described. Easy walk to restaurants and grocery store from a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view of the mountain from the master bedroom and deck area. Anya was immediately response to any questions we had from beginning to end. Thank you!

Beautiful clean home overlooking the river, spacious for our family and pets. Loved the kitchen set up and all bedrooms with their own bathroom, also laundry room, was comfortable, thankyou.

No photos can do justice to this wonderful, wonderful house. The location is perfect—you get a stunning view of Mt. Shasta, and the ability to see so many stars at night is absolutely mind-blowing! Not to mention how cozy the house is—beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. My friends and I are so thankful the universe led us to Janet's house; it truly was the cherry on top of our trip to Mt. Shasta. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful little 2nd home of someone, who is lucky enough to come up here when not renting to AirBnB. We appreciated the niceties in decoration and 'hominess'. There are four bedrooms, nicely appointed, but the bathroom layout is a little unusual and took some getting used to. Price ($395/night) was a bit steep, but like I said, it is a nicer house than many of those in the neighborhood.... Check-in and management was super easy and responsive.

We had a very nice stay at this beautiful house. It's dog friendly and the yard is amazing - big and nice outdoor seating areas. The house had everything we needed, great kitchen, cute bedrooms, comfortable beds and plenty of additional lines and towels. One can walk downtown to restaurants and shops very easily and all are dog friendly. Host communication was prompt and we were very comfortable and would definitely stay here again.

The Airbnb was amazing! Checking and checkout were very smooth. The house was amazing! So much natural light. The kitchen is beautiful. The deck is gorgeous, with plenty of space to relax in the sun. Definitely will stay next time we are in town. Love the location, very walkable.

A nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Conveniently located, almost 15 mins to Mt Shasta City. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodated our odd hours checkin and checkout. Very knowledgeable about the area as well.

Anna Marie's place was great! The location is perfect—right between Shasta and Castle Crags, which was ideal for our hiking trips. The space was exactly as described: small, clean, cute, and private. The kitchen was fully stocked with every essential—we were honestly surprised (in the best way)! We really appreciated the coffee and tea, and the thoughtful box of “things you might need” was a lifesaver. I forgot my toothbrush and didn’t realize it until later at night, so I was very grateful to find a new one in that box. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day on the trails, but my favorite part was the firepit in the peaceful garden—with a cool breeze coming through, it was the perfect end to our evenings. Just a heads-up: the town tends to close up around 8 PM during the week, so plan accordingly. But overall, it’s a super relaxing and peaceful place. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful 2bed/1ba in a peaceful private community. The property is renovated on the inside, true to the pictures. The check-in and parking instructions were accurate. The Sac River is a block away so you can hear the beautiful sound of flowing water all day. The big room is great for a couple (+ child), the second room is great for a solo person and cozy for a couple. The rest of the condo has a spacious living area with tv/games/books, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor balcony with great views where you can eat out in nice weather (which we did!). Note that the train tracks are just across the river, so you will hear the train a few times including at night - but this seems to be the case anywhere in Dunsmuir. I would recommend this place and hope to be back in this nature retreat again.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.
