We will definitely be back. This place was such an oasis. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing. The inside was just gorgeous and had everything we needed. The only thing that might be a bit tricky for some families is that there are not actual walls on the bedrooms so you can hear everything from snoring, talking, coughing and crying from any of the other guest you have staying with you. It is a big space so things seem to echo. That being said, the curtains make it very easy to sleep in! They were great! The road next to the house could also be loud at times with big trucks or loud cars but they were pretty few and far between. The hot tub was a great feature to relax in at night and the swing was so peaceful to wake up and sit on in the morning overlooking the beautiful landscape in the back yard. The family was so kind and welcoming. And we just loved the cute dog, Lilly! She was so sweet and made us feel right at home.

Unfortunately this wasn't a long stay! Our pit stop halfway from Ontario to Florida. The Rooster's Roost was the perfect spot for us to rest. We had our chihuahua pup with us, so the peaceful and lush grounds surrounding the AirBnB was perfect! Some of the other reviews mention the owners living above the Rooster's Roost - if that is the case, we had 0 clue we shared the grounds with anyone else. The place was so serene and peaceful! We felt like it was completely private. Beds were extremely comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed! There was plenty of space and very tidy! There was even dog bowls and toys!! We would have 100% stayed longer if we didn't have a 10hr drive the following day. I will definitely be returning and would recommend Grayson's place for anyone needing a beautiful stay in Wilkesboro, NC!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mrs. Dana’s aka Grannie’s House. Mrs. Dana was extremely helpful and responsive. She went over and beyond what even a super host has ever done in my opinion. I highly recommend this booking as the location is great, the parking is beyond adequate, it’s extremely spacious, and most importantly, Mrs. Dana is ALL THINGS GREAT. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Mrs. Dana. Words cannot express our gratitude for you accommodating our stay while in the area.

What an unbelievable experience. Keysha was so hospitable and very tentative to our family. We were able to see the chickens they have several pets on site. The kids absolutely love that location is ideal quaint beautiful home the living quarters are spectacular bedrooms are nice and roomy and comfortable living area is very cozy with a big TV. Kitchen is absolutely stunning and definitely want the highlights of the house. we loved it so much because there were games for the kids to play shuffleboard. And the outdoor entertainment area is worth the drive alone. Hot tub fireplace, beautiful setting with a path down to the river. I can’t see enough about the hosts. We even had a somewhat small emergency happened and I had to go knock on their door at midnight and they were very gracious to help us. I would give five stars. This is my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever rented.
