“Perfect location for a visit to the Witch City! We loved the fact we could park our car in our private parking spot and walk to everything in less than five minutes. The first floor apartment is very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. While there is a full sized refrigerator, stove, and sink, there is almost no counter space to prepare a meal. BUT fine restaurants are just minutes away, and the kitchen is perfect to warm up left overs. We totally enjoyed our stay!”
Beautiful hardwood floors in the living room, study and bedroom. Apartment is very roomy and the hearth in in the living room is one of the apartment's best features. It is a very open layout with no doors between the rooms. (Though of course the bathroom has one.) Walk to cafes, restaurants and the sea. Minutes to bus and commuter rail. In the heart of the city! Modest unit but cozy and convenient. Rustic in a good way. It's in the heart of everything that is interesting about Salem.
“Me and my partner loved staying at the Forsythia apartment! It’s a beautiful historic home with contemporary touches with many stories to tell! It is clearly well maintained. Sitting in front of it’s majestic fire place transports you back into time! It is also the perfect location for Salem as most everything was within walking distance, and we never had to move our car once for the duration of our stay!”
This newly renovated apartment is located steps away from the Hawthorne Hotel, Downtown Salem, the Salem Commons and is within walking distance to all of the Salem attractions and amazing restaurants. Wi-Fi included. Parking is on street. *We are still looking into parking in October. The apartment is downtown so parking is resident only/ parking pass. We are trying to work with the city to see if we can get temporary passes. If not there are 2 garages within a 7 minute walk from the apartment*
“Our stay here was great! The location was perfect, so close to downtown Salem and the derby wharf area. We walked everywhere from the apartment. It was super convenient. The only thing I didn’t realize (which was due to me not reading closely enough) is that the second bed isn’t a true bed but a blow up mattress. I didn’t even use it; I just slept on the couch and have the bed to my friend because the couch was comfortable enough, so I didn’t much mind! I just hadn’t realized there wasn’t two actual beds because I saw the “2 Beds” at the top of the listing and just assumed. 😂 Other than that little user error on my part, everything was perfect. Easy and a great value. We’d love to stay again next time we’re in town!”
