Walk out basement has 2 bedrooms, a family room, a full bathroom and place to prepare meals without a stove. Access is through the back door and patio areas. There’s a low impact elliptical machine in the smaller of the two bedrooms. The private patio area has a grill, umbrella, table, chairs, a fire pit and a couple swing. Great for hours of relaxation and making memories,....for our booked guests only. (ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS). Please respect the owners and our neighbors.

Such a Hallmark Town with the brick drive and the Vintage appeal from that local shops was so welcoming. I wished I had time to visit the shops during the day. I will make it a point to look for the availability of this loft, every time we come through the area.

All things good….I will book again. This beautiful property was near a town where graduation was held & so the convenience was a big factor, especially considering the distance we traveled for that event. My host was very responsive & welcoming. The property was well kept outside. I felt VERY much at home w/ two factors that MOST people would think were negative: well traveled road(but at home, I live next to a major hwy) & the storm/ lightning shows that happened(while 4 hrs away back home, the Kansas tornadoes were raging). These were NOT NEGATIVE because paved roads are a blessing & KS weather is always exciting lol. Way better than a motel for our needs & close, 11 miles to Topeka, for a variety of restaurants & activities if necessary. Silver Lake is small but had what we needed for groceries, gas & repairs, & eateries. Thank you for a great place to accommodate my family for a HS Graduation & , being in May, the smell of blooming flowers filled the air, a BONUS!!! ‘Til next time.

An awesome option if you’re going to Topeka. At the last minute, I had to extend my trip and found this Airbnb to be one of the few available. Although it wasn’t extremely close to the area I was needing to be, nothing in Topeka seemed to be more than a 10 min drive. The homes on the street are well kept and this Airbnb is no exception. If you are planning to cook on your visit, this is absolutely the home you want! The kitchen is the stuff dream are made of. The rest of the home is updated as well and one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. The mattress on the queen bed was comfortable and the bedding was soft. This is a great option for anyone visiting Topeka.

This home is clean and as described, historic with charm and minimal decor. The fenced in yard was great to have for our dog. The location is right on the main street for downtown, which we didn’t realize and there is traffic and neighborhood noise quite late. All that to say, we were only there for one night on a weekend. The noise and neighborhood aren’t the house’s fault. It was a well cared for place to stay and right near the interstate, which is what we needed.
