Vacation rentals with lake access in Manchester

Jade was a very helpful host. The area is traditional for the area, lovely nature reserve on back of rear garden for walks. The cottage is just lovely. Warm and cosy. We will definitely return here.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house is spacious with plenty of ensuite bathrooms. It was cosy, comfortable and perfect for us as a group of friends but would be good for families too. The location is lovely- it is set in a charming area with a shop just a minute away. We loved the fact it is surrounded by picturesque English villages with quaint cafes, restaurants and really gorgeous old pubs with open fires. Lovely rambles on the doorstep too. The house itself was idyllic and spotlessly clean. French doors in the main bedroom and living room open to stunning lake views creating a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. Waking up to birdsong and watching ducks on the lake was magical. Handy for quick access to Manchester and airport and great value for money. The host was helpful. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

Only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer. Beautiful clean house ideal for my husband and 3 children. Host was extremely helpful and responsive.

we had a great experience with Nick, the home was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. we have family in Hadfield and Glossop so it was the perfect location. Much cheaper that anywhere else so good value for money for the area.

The house was lovely and was located a 20 minute walk away from Salford or a quick Uber into Manchester so was perfect for a short city break. The house was very clean and easy to get into along with a bottle of Prosecco gifted to us on arrival 10/10 would definitely visit again.

A nice 3 bedroom townhouse in a good location. We were visiting family in Leigh and it suited us. The beds are comfortable and it is warm and with everything you need in the kitchen. Parking on the driveway.

Had an amazing stay in an absolutely gorgeous house. Laura and Jen are lovely and made me feel at home. So did little Ru ❤️ The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay (or even luxurious I should say), and so much better than a hotel which is far more impersonal. And if you need anything, Laura or Jen sort it out for you asap. Definitely recommend you stay here when in Manchester. Chorlton is also a great place to stay with tons of restaurants and bars nearby, and easy access to the city.

Very clean, good location, big space for a family The only one issue is about getting the flat keys from a different location before check in and you need to put them back. It was about 7-8 minutes walking distance between the 2 locations.

Fabulous place in the perfect location, easy access, privacy, loads of space. Was immaculate on arrival, lovely and warm and with everything we needed for a short break. Had our 2 dogs with us and its perfect for them.

Was a good place we stayed me an my colleagues had no issues apart from forgetting something in the apartment when I left but he said I can come pick it up soon so overall everything was good ,clean and wouldn’t mind booking again another time .

This gorgeous house was the perfect spot for a wholesome weekend away. It's in an ideal location, being very rural with access to many walks on foot, whilst being so close to Sheffield centre. It had a really homely and cosy feel and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely visit again.

From the time we booked we were made to feel that John and Christine were waiting to welcome us to their lovely cottage. We had clear directions and John was there to welcome us when we arrived. He showed us round the cottage, gave us helpful advice about eating places, etc and he was there if we needed to check anything out (although everything was really fine and we didn't need to trouble him). The cottage is super - part of an old farmhouse on their working farm, surrounded by fields and lovely scenery. The cottage is extremely well equipped and, to our surprise, there were lots of lovely welcome treats, including prosecco, mulled wine, lovely chocolates, etc etc. Such a wonderful welcome for our 'twixmas' mini break. The area is very attractive and well placed to visit places like Haworth and Skipton, which we did. We would certainly recommend this lovely cottage and want to thank John and Christine for making our stay so enjoyable.

lakeview is a beautiful cottage, and very homely, it's well equipped and spotless, the area is quite rural but good for walks, we ate at the miners arms in the village, the food was lovely, if you go in winter take a torch because there are no street lights to the pub, but it's about 5 mins from the cottage, Pamela was a lovely host, who replied quickly to any enquiries we had, will definitely go back in the summer

We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Sylvia was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was beautiful, extremely clean with beautiful views!! We absolutely loved it and will be returning in the future! Our friends and family are also looking to book after seeing our pictures :)

Lovey cottage, even though located on a working farm it was so quiet and peaceful (which is just what we needed). Cottage was lovely, clean and cosy. We booked to walk the alpacas which was amazing. Host was really friendly and helpful. Would defiantly book again.

Wow.. what a fantastic stay we had. Absolutely loved everything. Zeta was a super host and her property is perfect for a peaceful get away with the added benefits of a pool, sauna jacuzzi and steam room on site. The whole place was spotless and the setting was breathtaking. We will be back and we will be recommending to everyone we know. Thank you Zeta

We had the most memorable Christmas staying in Debbie's beautiful cottage. It was Cosy and homely and the views were stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our xmas dinner and the log fire added extra ambience. The location was perfect for visiting Disley Reservoir and for climbing to the top of the hills and looking down at Holmfirth and seeing livestock. Onix our dog loved the walks and really enjoyed the stay. The beds were so comfortable with soft linen for restful sleep after exploring. The summer house at the bottom of the garden created the perfect place to sit and watch the river and ducks. I would highly recommend this cottage and the location. There are great pubs and restaurants in walking distance and we did not need to use our car once. Debbie provided great information on check in process and her instruction manual for the home answered all our queries. We will be telling all our friends about Debbie's cottage and hope to stay again in the Summer.
