Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Maddalena Island

Rubens was very responsive from booking onwards. Our outgoing flight was delayed and he was very understanding and helpful. The house is beautiful and was opposite a lovely restaurant where the staff were very friendly and the food was great. The bedrooms are really spacious and there was plenty of hanging space as well as 2 hairdryers. The house has lots of character and quirky features and the garden was bright and colourful with a gorgeous sea view. We had hired a car for the week and we were just a short drive from some stunning beaches. I would definitely recommend for others to stay here and would love to return in the summer season.

We stumbled upon this wonderful little cottage by chance after having originally canceled our vacation. At the last minute, we decided to go anyway—and we’re so glad we did! This charming spot turned out to be a hidden gem. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The cottage itself is perfect for two people: nestled among olive trees, peaceful and private, yet just 10 minutes from the airport and a short drive to the center of Olbia. It’s the best of both worlds—quiet and relaxing, but close to everything you might need. We were even lucky enough to be visited by a curious little cat, a bunny, and an adorable hedgehog during our stay—such a magical touch. We’d absolutely love to return in the future!

Federico a été un super hôte, qui nous a accueillis très chaleureusement ! La maison est située dans un endroit très calme avec une vue incroyable et un accès privatif à la mer. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier des conseils de Federico qui a toujours été super réactif. C’était un réel plaisir

Die Unterkunft liegt super zentral auf La Maddalena und ist somit der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um Capera, La Maddalena und das gesamte Archipel zu erkunden. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit gehabt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen :)

My mum and I felt right at home at Giovanna's. Giovanna was very friendly and always responded quickly (: The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures and very spacious! The kitchen is super equipped and the furnishings are modern and nicely decorated. The nearest beach is only a 5 minute walk away. There are mosquitoes on site, but there are mosquito nets on all the windows and citronella anti-mosquito coils if you want to sit outside. So the mosquitoes didn't bother us and we slept very well. We also really liked the area, it's very quiet and the beautiful Spiaggia di Bassa Trinita is only 2 minutes away by car. But with a short walk you also have a nice view of the islands of Spargi, Budelli and co and access to other small beaches that are more sheltered from the wind. We really enjoyed our stay at Giovanna's!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Alles sah aus wie beschrieben und noch schöner, sodass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Luca war sehr freundlich und hat uns nützliche Tips gegeben. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen, aber mit dem Auto ist man in schnell am Meer oder den umliegenden Orten. Wir können einen Aufenthalt sehr empfehlen- vor allem mit den flauschigen Mitbewohnern🐕😊

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch, wir haben die unglaubliche Aussicht und die Ruhe jeden Tag aufs Neue genossen. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht um eine entspannte Zeit zu erleben - genau was wir gesucht haben. Vielen Dank.

The apartment is in the perfect location: At the beginning of the pedestrian area, right next to the beautiful town square – and parking a few steps away. You can watch the locals and tourists walk by while you drink a glass of wine in front of your own place in town. The apartment itself was very nice and roomy and had everything we and our kids needed (baby bed and chair included). The fridge was filled with some things for breakfast as well, which was very generous. Communication was perfect as well! Very highly recommended, don't hesitate to book – thanks again for everything!

Lovely place to stay with everything you need, very central so everything is on a walking distance. Free parking nearby recommended by the owner, which it was awesome. Easy to communicate, he waited for us to show us the place, he offered us if we wanted to stay longer without charging us which was very kind. When we needed an umbrella he made sure we got it straight away. Super recommendable. Would love to stay there again!!

L'appartement de Patrizia est impeccable, le ménage et les petites attentions proposées sont pas loins de ce que vous trouverez à l'hôtel. Rarement vu aussi complet après 10 ans de Airbnb. L'appartement est suffisament spacieux, une décoration personnalisée, une petite terrasse et très bien placée pour se trouver rapidement avec la voiture dans les beaux espaces de la Maddalena. Communication fluide avec Patrizia , excellent rapport qualité / prix, je ne peux que recommander !

Our accommodation was beautiful. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. It was peaceful and allowed us to enjoy a quiet time. Jessica and Alessandro were on hand if required. The recommendation booklet was thoughtful and well planned, providing great tips. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Palau.

We stayed here for a couple nights and would definitely stayed here next time we visit. Comfortable bed, ice cold a/c, quiet, and a water view from the terrace are all we need to be happy guests. Valentina’s place checked all those boxes.

Wir sind schon zum 2. Mal hier haben uns wieder sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Alles ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, sodass man auch drinnen eine schöne Zeit verbringen kann. Der Strand ist unmittelbar unter dem Fenster der Unterkunft, sehr idyllisch und ruhig. Das kleine Städtchen Palau ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar und auch die Insel Maddalena ist von dort gut mit der Fähre zu erreichen und einen Besuch wert! Wir haben schon für nächstes Jahr gebucht :-)

Ottimo alloggio. Siamo stati benissimo, Salvatore e suo figlio Marco persone disponibili e alla mano. Consigliatissimo!

Logement agréable et accueil sympathique. Tout à fait conforme aux photos et à la description. Francesco habite en dessous de l’appartement et est très réactif. La localisation est également top, un peu en hauteur avec une belle vue depuis la terrasse. Je recommande :)

L’appartamento è in una posizione strategica, 10 minuti dal centro a piedi ma sei fuori dal casino. Parcheggio riservato, condominio tranquillo. Camere ampie, cucina fornitissima. Bel terrazzo per cene al fresco. Accogliente.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön, tolle Lage und super nette und schnelle Kommunikation mit den Vermietern.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à La Maddalena. Le logement était parfaitement conforme à la description, propre, bien situé et très agréable. L’accueil a été chaleureux et tout s’est déroulé sans encombre. Merci encore pour ces deux belles journées !

It took us 8 minutes to get to Floriana and Kristina's place from the airport. We had taken an evening flight so it was great to only have to drive a short distance to our accommodations. But what was amazing was the selection of restaurants, shops and live music available once we got settled in. Next door was a wine bar, there was an amazing restaurants with an acoustic singer a few steps past that. It was so nice being able to have a great meal after a long day. The walkability of the entire area outside of Floriana and Kristina's place was ideal for an already beautiful area. After dinner, we went for a walk down to the ferris wheel and got some great views of the area. The apartment itself was gorgeous - so clean, exactly as described and it was very quiet in the evening. We had no issues with falling asleep - we were in disbelief that this bustling area outside had no impact on the quietness of the interior of the apartment. Love these accommodations and wish we stayed longer!

Séjour très agréable, à proximité de toutes les commodités (port, commerces, restaurants…). Mario a été un hôte parfait, très réactif, et nous a fourni des instructions très détaillées avant notre arrivée ! Le parking à proximité est un vrai plus, bref un très bon point de chute pour explorer les belles îles de la Maddalena :)

Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Woche und haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Nicht nur der Ausblick war toll, auch die Wohnung selbst ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht (auch ausreichend Besteck!). Neue Küche, schönes Bad, alles schön hell! Palau selbst auch ein süsser Ort, der Ende Mai noch nicht sehr touristisch war, sehr gerne wieder!!

Katia’s place is spectacular, right next to the water, offering two private beaches, a beautiful garden with a stone table with incredible view! Loved the gallery space outside of the house and the inside is super clean and modern. Katia was a super friendly and attentive host, she lives on the house on top but she always respected our privacy. Also the place is fully equipped with anything you need and more, there was cooking stuff, wine, coffee, water, fruits, many hygiene products, sunscreen. One of the best places we stayed!

Die Unterkunft von Maria Rita Anna ist ein Juwel. Wir haben eine sehr freundliche und liebevolle Gastgeber-Familie kennengelernt, so dass wir das Gefühl hatten "nach Hause zu kommen". Die Unterkunft ist sauber und makellos. Wir wurden mit Keksen und Kuchen verwöhnt und auch für die Kinder gab es eine Kleinigkeit, sowie extra Spielgeräte im Hof. Wir können diese familienfreundliche Unterkunft nur empfehlen!
