We've been doing this for 6 years and love to show you how LA is done by an actual local and not a "tour company." Please Note: Tipping tour guides is America is customary and always appreciated. OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we offer boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS: The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. Your safety is our main priority! All of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association), CPR & First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. PHOTOS: One of the instructors will try to take complimentary GoPro photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. Keep in mind that it's not alway possible to get water shots due to safety reasons. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. For kids under 12yo - please inquire about private lessons.

Tap into your wild side by immersing yourself in the enchanting world of wolves as you spend time with select members of our pack inside their habitats. This close-knit group experience also features a guided tour through our wolf den as we share the pack’s remarkable stories of resilience. You may even leave with a friendly wolf kiss or two! Time subject to change based on weather. NOTE: Please wear closed-toe boots or shoes, long pants, and weather-appropriate layers. Do not wear fur or dangling jewelry. If you have a cast or physical limitation, please notify us in advance.

Before you come: We will try and contact you to size you for a wetsuit/board to help speed up the pre-lesson portion, and also give you an update on the conditions for your lesson. 20 minutes before the lesson: We will have you sign a waiver and get into your wetsuit. First 45min- hour of lesson: We will be on land and cover all of the basics, technique, and safety. The following 30-40 minutes: we'll be in the water together. I'll help you get into waves and give you instruction in the water to help you surf your first wave(s) The remaining time: you'll show what you've learned, We'll be a little more hands-off and either join you in the water or watch from the beach. A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs! Non-profit, all proceeds go to the very dogs you are walking, who are also up for adoption. We'll meet friendly people on the way and let them know about the dogs. A nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes. NEW! We have added afternoon hikes Thursday through Saturday. Watch the sun set from 1000 feet above LA, amazing view as we walk down Runyon Canyon... and then you can go explore Hollywood and West Hollywood, a short walk away for an evening coffee or dinner! This experience is great for groups and great for teams! We love to host private and corporate groups, and socializing with the dogs is great for team-building!

Observe the motto, “All the bees work together for the health of the planet” and join me in a sacred realm where you’ll transcend the facts about bees and discover how to connect with the complexity of nature. Safety first: We will go over rules of engagement and safely learn to co-exist with these fuzzy pollinators by respectfully entering their hive in order to observe the inner workings of the colony. We will move slowly and do a brief breathing exercise to quiet our minds. You’ll learn about their life cycle, different roles in the hive, their fascinating social structure and ways of communicating through dance, sound and pheromones. You may even meet the Queen and feed the bees honey. Other things to note Please bring your camera and extra water on hot days. Please wear light color clothing, loose thick long pants, closed-toe shoes and long socks. Do not wear heavy perfumes or shampoos. Text me upon arrival.

Imagine your breakfast with wholesome, nutritious eggs from your own backyard hens. Raising chickens is rewarding for the whole family. Come see for yourself! Get a chance to hand-feed our hens (fun for photographs) and see if it's for you. Or just relive what it is like to be around them if your grandma had them or if you were raised with them. I'll answer your questions and cover the dos and don'ts for starting and caring for your flock. How to choose the right breeds for your area, what age you want (Day-old chicks? Laying age? Hatching eggs?), house them, feed them, care for them, and still have your neighbors on speaking terms. This Experience focuses on chickens as pets and for eggs. I don't keep roosters or meat birds, although I will be happy to answer questions. Seating is provided. I will provide some resource notes on raising chickens as well as egg-based recipes to try later. My hope is you’ll enjoy spending time in appreciation of Nature, learn about where our food comes from, and slow down long enough to appreciate the sights, sounds and habits of chickens.

NOT in New York.** We will do a personalized photoshoot of you either with loved ones or solo, captured in one of Los Angeles' best kept secrets - Pasadena City Hall. Built in neo-Renaissance Italian style architecture, the location features abundant natural light, arches, palm trees, and a courtyard complete with a marble fountain. This the perfect setting for a romantic photoshoot. With plenty of picturesque backgrounds to choose from, this experience captures the sunny vintage glamour of Los Angeles while avoiding the crowds and parking hassles of many other experiences. Guests are allowed to bring up to 3 outfits for the shoot. I will provide a pop up tent for outfit changes. After the shoot, I will make selections and do a light edit. Then 20 photos will be delivered to you via a password-protected online gallery within 7 days of the shoot.

Tired of the same old dates? Ready to spice up your love life? Why not take your romantic interest out on an exciting date of music and the shared activity of drumming! Our experience will take place at my music studio in North Hollywood, where I will teach you the basics of drumming. I'll teach you technique, we'll talk about the fascinating history of drums and you'll learn how to play to a few songs like “Hotel California” and “Purple Rain” to start. Some groups have learned really fast and we have done some more intricate songs such as “Seven Nation Army” or Michael Jackson's “Beat It”. There will be plenty of opportunities for photo and videos to share with your friends and family! ——— Wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes recommended (No dresses or heels please). Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. Approximate flight time is 40 mins Expect a cancellation if there is bad weather. Only two passengers are allowed per ride to create a guest-focused experience.

High Horse Malibu offers private and semi-private (up to four riders) horseback rides in one of the most secluded and scenic areas in Malibu! We meet at the agreed location/beach. Surfboards will be provided and wetsuits can be rented additionally from the package. Class will begin with light stretching and some theory. We then talk a little bit about the surfboard and the ocean. After you will learn water safety and proper surf safety for entering and exiting the water. Once all basics are covered, we practice pop-ups on the sand correcting any positioning. Finally, we make it to the water to experience what we've learned and Surf some Waves!!! Plenty of time for photos after the lesson. If you've had prior experience to surfing, we can evaluate your skill level and continue from where you left off. Everyone is different. I use a few different beaches in Malibu so the beach we will be meeting on will be based on the conditions for the day you come. The beaches that I use are between the famous Malibu Pier in Southern Malibu to Zuma Beach in the Northern part of Malibu. Start to finish is 1 1/2 hours. The first 20 minutes we will consist of a beach lesson on the sand where we will go over the basics of surfing. We will go over water safety, paddling, balancing and the proper technique of surfing. Then out in the water for the rest of the time catching waves. My goal is to have you catch as many waves as possible in the time we spend together. I also almost guaranty that you will stand up and ride many waves. Other things to note I will supply surfboards, wetsuits and lesson. This Experience can be booked any time during any day.
