What you'll do

NOTE: Runyon Canyon is currently closed by the city. Until it opens we are doing this hike at nearby Griffith Park, meeting at Lot B just at the entrance from N. Vermont Ave. Full instructions and a video showing all of this will be sent to you when you book! If you would like to view videos showing where we meet now, here are the links: Part 1, https://youtu.be/lbwWMwSjwLE Part 2, https://youtu.be/Z1Ww4QlDdG8 Part 3, https://youtu.be/84_11hUUhvQ We will enjoy a nice walk up hiking trails to the Griffith Observatory. Wear good shoes for hiking! It's not particular hard, but it is a hiking trail. As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes.
  • Responsible interactions

  • Caring expert hosts

Learn from biologists, conservationists, farmers, and more.

  • Diverse animals

Meet over 300 kinds of animals, from alpacas to zebras.

Meet the dogs

These playful pups will herd you to the top and increase your heart rate—because they’re cute and they like to run. They may stop and lick innocent bystanders in exchange for a belly rub, and will make you fall in love (with them and the views).
