Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lorain County

A very nice and restored historic place. Lots of decor! The house is big enough for small or large gatherings. A 5 minute drive to Lake Erie beach. You would be amazed as soon as you walk in the door. The host is pleasant and commendating.

We stayed at this location for multiple months, including Thanksgiving and Christmas as we were displaced from our home due to a fallen tree. During the warm months, there is a wonderful secluded backyard patio with waterfall and swing seat. This house easily became a home and we are grateful for the space and conveniences it offered.

Polly was an excellent host and her home at 425 Parkland was a cozy, lake style cottage and exactly what I was looking for to spend with my family. Her home was immaculate, and there was a quick reference guide book with information on cable to internet, great shopping and dining locations, things to do etc. The neighborhood was also in a great location, with friendly faces saying hello and waving good morning! This was an amazing stay as it was my first Airbnb experience and I couldn't be more pleased and will be staying here again in the future!

We are 5-star Airbnb hosts ourselves and have very high standards and Cathy's Chippewahoo met or exceeded them all. Where do I start? First of all, spotlessly clean. Second, Cathy has thought of EVERYTHING anyone might need - I especially appreciated the Kleenex in nearly every room - it's amazing how many Airbnbs do not supply ANY Kleenex! Fully stocked kitchen and also bathroom. Comfy beds and lots of extra bedding. Since it's winter, we didn't get to take advantage of the lake but I did see that Cathy has supplied coolers, towels and everything one might need for a day at the beach. The decor is charming, the furniture is ever-so-comfy and high quality. We need to return in summer so we can take advantage of the cute porch/deck and fire pit. It was so quiet and peaceful there, even though in a neighborhood with close neighbors. Truly a 5-star experience.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and cozy. We appreciated that the house was stocked with many common forgotten items and had all the comforts of home. It is very close to the lake and the town of Vermillion which is so charming. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area.

Diana went above and beyond for our family. She even helped us get a crate for our dog and helped guide us with docking our boat at the local marina. Her Airbnb was perfect for a full family with a pet. It’s a fully fenced in backyard which gave us peace of mind when we let our dog out. You can walk to the local beach and see the lake. The place looked exactly like the photos and everything was clean.

Great house! Spectacular views and unique modern design. Entire house is nicely remodeled. Fast internet. Excellent host who was responsive 100% of the time.

What a great place to stay. I'd wager you'd be hard-pressed to find a more idyllic setting in all of Ohio. Great home, excellent amenities, thoughtful touches, and a great host. Oh, and then there is Lake Erie! Even in the heart of winter, the views of the frozen lake are truly amazing. I'll have to come back in summer to see if summer sun tops the serenity of winter. It'll be a tough contest. Highly recommended!

Millie's place was wonderful she leaves you soda in refrigerator and snacks. very quite no loud city nosie. comfortable to. Millie will always check up on you via airbnb to see if you need anything extra

What was originally a "had to find a place for the night close to where we had to be" kind of situation turned into a very enjoyable stay, great place, great communication, good beds, lots of space and great surroundings even though it was very cold that day. Outside: inside was just right :) We even got to see a young eagle perched right outside our windows, thanks to Di who texted us to have a look! Very enjoyable stay, thanks a lot!

Great location, plenty of things to walk to. Nice and close to the north coast inland bike trail.

We are Oberlin alumni visiting our professors, and this stay has been absolutely wonderful. Linda is incredibly kind, communicative, and understanding. The accommodation feels warm and home-like—we will definitely be back!
