Located a few hundred feet from the Iris gardens at Horton farm, a six acre garden space with over 1400 Iris varieties. Bloom season is April and May. The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. Inside you'll find a fresh colorful landscape of hand made cabinets, concrete countertops and furniture. The heated and Polished concrete floor is ready for farm life. You'll be delighted in the vintage items and local artwork.

This house was everything and MORE!! Perfect entertainment space, perfect for a large family not to feel on top of each other. The outdoor space was just as impressive as the home. I chose this home for its proximity to my Grandmother’s house. If I EVER need an Air B&B while visiting again this will definitely be my go to choice.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences ever. The host was very responsive, and the place is even nicer than the photos. For our group, we found the spaces perfect for visiting day and night. We especially loved the outdoor space with covered seating and lots of it. The kitchen had everything you would ever want. Even had condiments and every appliance imaginable. The huge fridge was great. The beds were comfortable, and the two bedrooms w en-suite baths made it very nice. I only wish we had more time to spend at the house. We really enjoyed our time there and would book it again in a heartbeat. Close to great shopping and dining. Thanks, Carla, for creating such a great home and for sharing it with others!

With access to the wine and ale trail as well as the venue for concerts and a farmers market down the road, there was lots to do. We loved the creek and welcoming touches the hosts provided and appreciated their friendly and prompt communication as well as accommodating an earlier check in for us. Cool off and relax at The Little River Hideaway!

Gosh where do I start? This was by far my favorite place we have stayed so far. The home was beautiful, cozy, and the accommodations were perfect. We barely left the home (just for food and groceries) and spent almost all of our time outdoors by the river making memories with our littles. Our dog got to hang out with us as well. We loved the fact that the deck can be gated and closed and this relieved a lot of stress as far as having to constantly watch our dog. The atmosphere is relaxing, the home is clean, and has everything you need. Outside, there are multiple sitting areas and direct access to the water. During hot peak hours, we took dips in the river with the kids and during cooler temps in the evenings, we relaxed in the hot tub. We are planning on making this a yearly tradition. The host was very kind and responsive and just friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

What a lovely, peaceful retreat! Friendly dogs and livestock, beautiful plants and trees filled with singing birds and a beautifully maintained ranch for your enjoyment. On top of that, a wonderful house and host who makes sure all of your needs are taken care of. I highly recommend this place!
