The Head Water House Suite is very easy to find just 5 miles off HWY 101, up the Elk River Valley just shy of Old Town Eureka. This place is truly unique with it's one of kind natural Redwood amphitheater and open meadow views. The Elk River Valley is relatively quiet, brilliant starry nights, and has 50% more sunny days than Eureka proper. Equipped with Starlink, rural connectivity has never been better. You'll see and hear many species of birds, deer, fox, and maybe even a Barred Owl at dusk.

This large 14X20 room plus bathroom is for non-smoking guests. Windows with wooded views and a private entrance. Also a queen size Tempur-pedic mattress, WiFi, microwave oven (behind a cabinet door), electric tea kettle, toaster oven, Keurig, refrigerator, hot plate, bar sink, large TV (with over 250 channels), DVD player, and off street parking. Nothing high-end here (except the mattress) but very comfy, clean, and private. Also the bathroom has it's own on-demand water heater (not shared).

Spend your days hiking among the giants in the redwood forest. Take a 10 minute scenic drive through pasture land to the rugged pacific coastline. Or simply step out your door and take a short walk uptown to enjoy our small town: art gallery, coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping! We allow a maximum of 2 small to medium sizes dogs, upon approval.
