Our home is 53 miles from Harrisburg and 54 miles from State College. 10 minutes from Rt. 322. We live along a main road.We live in a beautiful setting in the country with Shade Mountain in the background. We finished our basement in 2019 and have around 1200 square feet of lovely and modern decor with a full kitchen.A dining table with 2 extra leaves. Large living room with wrap around couch and a regular couch which comes out into a queen bed along with a comfortable recliner.

A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway! The cabin was perfect and exactly what we were looking for - cozy, welcoming, clean and beautiful views. The running creek was so calming to listen to in the evening, the kitchen very well stocked and the festive lights on the front porch helped to guide the way when we were driving back in the evening. Megan was a great Host! Her home was perfect for our stay. Came for a graduation at PSU. I would definitely come back to stay again! Home was well equipped to easily get comfortable and feel at home. Surrounding area was so beautiful to take walks around the neighborhood. Everyone in the area was so friendly and welcoming! Also, great recommendations from host as well as neighbors. Wish would could’ve stayed a couple days longer. Lastly, although this is more of a review of the area, we fell in love with Sheetz! We don’t have them in Southern California, and was so excited to go there! Thank you again Megan!!

We had a wonderful time at the Lazy Bass Lodge! Directions and check in instructions were clear, Landon responded to a question almost instantly, the place was clean and unique. My kids loved walking down to the river and playing pool. They complained that there was no tv at first, but I know for sure they had much more fun without it! Everyone slept comfortably and we appreciated having three full bathrooms. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but there was a Walmart and places to eat only five minutes away. We would be happy to return in the future. Highly recommend!
