If you’re in Wasilla, this is the place to stay. My family of five (three boys 7-14) had a blast swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, playing outside games (darts, whiffle ball), roasting marshmallows over the outside fire pit and hanging in the hot tub. It was amazing family time! Jody’s is the BEST stocked Airbnb we’ve ever stayed; bring clothes and you’re all set! All the little things; bacon/eggs, hair products, laundry detergent, flip flops for the yard! The bird feeder outside the kitchen window was so lovely to watch. Thank you again, Jody, for sharing a slice of your heaven!

This house is PERFECT! I run events in Alaska that require me to fly up 12 or so performers and renting Sashas house made my life 100x easier. The house is perfect, spacious and very easy to get to. Darcie’s place was extremely comfortable, clean, and spacious and a great location for exploring Anchorage and the surrounding areas. Some of the walking paths in Anchorage are just a few blocks away, which was great for those who wanted to get out and take a morning walk. We really enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Gary's place for a week during a conference I attended in Anchorage. The location is great - close enough to walk into central areas but far enough to get peace and quiet for the city. The appartement is great and comfortable, and the views to the ocean and mountains are incredible! We strongly recommend you to stay at Gary's!

A great place to stay and discover Anchorage. We loved the wood stove that is creating a very warm atmosphere. Jason is an exceptional host, extremely responsive!

Richard was a wonderful host and his home is in the most gorgeous setting! Close to the nature center and you are totally in nature. The place had everything we needed and the two rooms both have doors so this worked really well for our two daughters. Basically for our family of four we used it as two bedrooms and then the large hallway is open to a nice kitchen table and has a generous sized bathroom and small kitchen off of the hallway. Richard was so kind and set up two futons for us so our daughters didn’t have to share and could close a door. He also added a nice thick foam pad on top of the futons so they were extremely comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was large. His washer and dryer worked great too! We appreciate how well we were treated and would stay with Richard again. Thank you Richard!!!

We loved this place!! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, place was comfortable and felt like home. Kris is a gem and it was so special to meet her.

One of the best thought out and put together Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. A relatively small space, but very well utilized. Everything you need and appealingly decorated. A lot of thought had gone into providing plenty of clothes hangers and hooks, as well as a well equipped kitchen and lots of options for plugging in and charging phones and other devices. All this plus a communicative host made for a too brief but very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Lovely stay in this charming attic apartment. The location was very convenient — just a block away from the bus to the airport. The space is part of a historic cottage with lots of tourist information thoughtfully provided in the room, which was very helpful for exploring Anchorage. The bed was comfortable and having a full fridge was a great bonus. Just be aware that it’s on the upper floor, so you’ll need to carry your suitcase up the stairs. Overall, a very nice and enjoyable stay!

Great place overall! Not super close to the airport, but close enough (i.e. 15-20mins), and a quaint place to stay with plenty of beds and a seemingly quiet neighborhood. Rebekah was very responsive and kind in her communication, plus very flexible!
