Super nice place to stay! Looks exactly like the photos. Laureen is a very dear hostess, was always available and has a fantastic style with which she decorated the house.😊 The location is super quiet, which invites you to relax. We had a great and relaxing girls weekend, would love to come back and would highly recommend the house to anyone!

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

We were in the accommodation with a group and had a very nice weekend. The house is cozy and very nicely located, it is quiet and invites you to relax or walk. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds were cozy. The rooms upstairs are partially connecting rooms. The garden with lake, sauna and hot tub were our highlight. It's very idyllic. Communication was easy and friendly. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend the place.

The place was great, had a great weekend. Nice big house, everything you need available, nice rooms & great bathrooms. Unfortunately, we probably overlooked that the pool cannot yet be used in May — we still had a great time

Beautiful large villa home, has everything that is needed for a relaxing vacation. We were family and friends with 7 in total, we all loved the big house, large kitchen, massive backyard, pool, game zone, sit out area everything was too good. its amazing experience. Definitely recommend anyone who is interested.

We were with 6 adults, 2 small children and 1 dog at Jens' place for a family celebration in Krefeld. The house is super beautiful right in the forest, perfect for walks with the dog. The house has a very nice garden with pool and hot tub, unfortunately we had very bad weather, so we could not use the pool. Everything felt very cozy. We will be happy to come back.

This was a perfect place to stay for our family with 3 children. The private (massive) garden was exactly what we needed to ensure our kids could still play without having to be too quiet, such as it is in most apartments. There were plenty of toys and a playground as a bonus. The host was wonderful and friendly, always checking on our needs and responding to our requests. One minor issue is that the kitchen doesn't have hot water so you need to get warm water from the bathroom for doing dishes. For staying in the summer, this place is ideal and we'd happily go back!

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had three really nice days in Nina's apartment and felt super comfortable right from the start. Communication with her was totally straightforward – she was always available, responded super quickly and gave us super clear information. The apartment itself is in top condition, very clean and really nicely decorated – you can tell that she has put some thought into it. Everything worked smoothly and the handling was totally easy. We spent 2 weeks in Frank’s house. Every room is big as the photo.Shower room is big and very clean.Frank and Anja take care of the house and the garden very neatly. We left in a hurry and clean the house try our best.I’d like to live here again.

Although we were only there for one night, we felt comfortable right away. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable and the terrace large. Definitely worth the money and we would book it again anytime.

Petra received me very nicely and warmly. Then she showed me the place and explained everything. Everything is very new and well-maintained. I felt right at home. In the area are supermarkets and also restaurants, which can be easily reached by car, but also on foot. So you have everything you need for your daily needs nearby. The area is very quiet. And due to the good weather, I was able to sit comfortably on the terrace behind the house in the sun. What more could you ask for? Above all, I am very grateful that Petra responded to my special requests. Thank you again for that. Petra is really a good-hearted and very likeable person and a great host.

Was a nice place to stay, quiet and relaxing. 30 min out of town by tram, still easy to get into town.

What a beautiful location this is! We really enjoyed the tranquility and the beautiful view. The cottage is small, but basically has everything you need. The private access to the lake is great, you really feel like you're all alone in nature. Fortunately, we did not experience others walking by. The separate bath/shower area was no problem for us, it was just nice to walk there every time. However, the cottage was indeed a bit dusty as a number of people mention, the cleaning may receive some extra attention. On the other hand, it was very neatly cleaned up and generally neat! Fabian and his father are incredibly friendly hosts! Thank you for letting us stay in your cottage. We already miss the view and would love to come back!
