We had a wonderful relaxing stay in the yome - loved looking at the stars at night and meeting the animals in the morning! Breakfast was incredible, thanks for opening your farm to us!

My husband and I were scrambling to find a place to stay for some last minute plans in the area and I am so glad I happened to come across Paula and John's place. If you are thinking of booking. just go ahead and do it. The property is really amazing and full of things to do. The yurt is so cool! Comfy bed and all the needed amenities. The (detached) bathroom even has real plumbing! Paula and John are both extremely friendly and are there on the property to help with whatever you may need. We had a great stay and really enjoyed kayaking on the canal in the mornings. We can't wait to come back!

This is a really beautiful spot and a great atmosphere to kick back, slow down and relax. The yurt and kitchen both have a cozy, artsy feel that is very welcoming. The deck behind the yurt is a wonderful spot to have a morning coffee and watch the birds over the water. If your stay is in the summer, definitely take a dip in the river by the falls. Karen and Kevin were great hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them. We explored the rail trails nearby on our bikes, and there's lots of great hiking in the area too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Magical Nature Escape Our stay at the Luxury Eco-Yurt was nothing short of amazing! This was the last stop on our trip from Toronto to Sandbanks to Kingston, and it was truly the perfect ending. The yurt is beautifully designed—cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Every detail was so well thought out, from the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom to the outdoor firepit under the stars. The host was incredibly sweet and welcoming. We were greeted with a handwritten note, a park pass, marshmallows, and a lovely introduction to the space—it immediately made us feel at home. The highlight for us was watching the fireflies at night—such a magical sight! It brought out the child in me and filled us with pure joy. This place reminded me of my childhood home and gave us a much-needed moment of calm before heading back to everyday life. We’re leaving with full hearts and beautiful memories. Highly recommend to anyone looking to reconnect with nature and themselves.

Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. Judy was a great host and staying in a Yurt was a wonderful experience. It was so refreshing to unplug and live off grid for awhile. Kitchen and bathroom were better than you can expect for being outdoors. Definitely will go back, highly recommend such a jem. Thanks to our host Judy, for all you did for us, and for the fresh veggies and flowers on our table.

We had an amazing fall getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventurous (but very peaceful) getaway. Beautiful trails to explore. Very nice out door fire pit and well organized outdoor kitchen. Our kids had a blast.

Guy is a very responsive and helpful host, and it was great to meet him and get some helpful information about the house. We also met Sooty who is adorable! The house is small but had plenty of room for the two of us and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the local area, it's very close to the lake and local amenities. We'd recommend the Stoltzfus Family farm shop which has incredible local produce.

Had a lovely stay. The place is clean, cozy, and exactly as described. It is a one-stop shop for peace, comfort, and seclusion. There are a lot of activities to do so you will never get bored. In the morning, you will wake up to birds chirping and if you like stargazing, you’re in for a treat at night. Also, the host is amazing—she clearly has a passion for taking care of her guests and has put so much effort into making this place a sanctuary not just for her guests from the city life, but also for the birds. Would love to return in the fall or winter

We had the most peaceful stay with our silly dog. The chickens you get totally used to. The rooster in the morning is great as it gets your day started. The town is only a couple of minutes away. Would have stayed here forever if I could lol. They have so many fresh eggs you can buy, bring change or dont you can email transfer them. Essentially just bring some food/drinks. I cannot get over the hospitality and I travel a lot. The Bomb-fire Ace made for us was AMAZI AMAZING! 5 stars all the way or I would say 10 if that was an option 😀

The love shack + yurt was such a great getaway for our mini moon in mid September! We wanted glamping vibes and definite got them with the wood burning pizza oven and the modern finishes in the bathroom and kitchen. We absolutely love having bikes onsite to explore grindstone. Would definitely recommend this place for a small group or family!!
